The perfect place for a short or long term stay. Clean, comfortable & prepared with everything one needs for a lovely stay. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe - I enjoyed many walks & runs in the late afternoons. Close to many activities, shops & restaurants. The hosts are very friendly & responsive. I highly recommend.

This was our third time staying at The Salt Box and we had another great stay! The property is beautifully and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The location is convenient with the beachfront a short walk or drive away. We love the peaceful atmosphere with sliding doors opening the lounge to the private garden / pool area. Dining in is a breeze with everything we needed provided for. The furniture and beds are comfortable and views from upstairs never get old. Ame and Spencer are amazing hosts and are always super responsive and friendly. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras they provide. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Mark and Nicky are amazing hosts and make you feel at home in their cottage without being intrusive or crossing boundaries. Issues were dealt with very quickly and Mark is very responsive in communicating. The unit is set in a peaceful and beautiful suburb and is close to wine estates, parks, a sports complex, shops and restaurants. We started of as strangers but after 30 days left as good friends. Highly recommended and well worth the price.

Francy is a lovely lady with great eye for detail and comfort. The unit is incredibly well equipped for every possible need - the furniture, decor and overall finish of the unit is all very high quality- the views from every corner are simply sublime ( we sat in the garden to watch the stars - simply amazing with no light pollution) the darling doggie who comes over for a cuddle was the icing on a very lovely cake! Thank you Francy!!

We had a wonderful, peaceful few days at this charming cottage , with stunning views and a great location. It was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Eunice was a friendly and very helpful host - communication was responsive and thoughtful . We would highly recommend this cottage and would return in a heartbeat.

Cornelia was a wonderful host, very organised and welcoming. The room is beautiful, private and quiet. There were even fresh flowers on the table when we arrived! There is an incredible garden behind the house with a view of the mountains and the beach is stunning, only 2 minutes walk away. All in all, a very peaceful and lovely place to stay. We had a wonderful time! Thank you, Cornelia!

Firstly let me just say this, the place is better and bigger than it looks in the pictures. The sea is right in front of the balcony and next to the line of trees/bushes and we could hear the soothing sounds of waves crashing against the rocks, all night long. From the terrace, you get the view of ocean in the front and hills on the back. The room, kitchen, bathroom all were squeaky clean and modern. We cooked our meal and the kitchen is well equipped. Both the hosts are warm, friendly and responsive. Even though our stay was not very long, we spoke at length about food, local recommendations, etc.

We stayed one night at Melinda's and everything was super fine! close to everything, nice bedding with little heat pads! Thoughtful things like insect repellent and hand cream! Would pic this place again in Hermanus!

Wir wurden so herzlich empfangen. Dieser Ort ist so wunderschön und die Aussicht fantastisch! Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Thelma und Alan sind sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar, wenn nötig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Und mit Sicherheit mehr als eine Nacht :)

Lerien an Pieter are down to earth, and friendly, they are very accomodating, and even let me check in earlier, i stayed there because i had a family member in Vergelegen that had a major surgery. Compassionate, Neat,attentave, and not overbearing thanks for the great stay.

My father stayed here for a while and really enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. He said Adriaan was very accommodating and he had a wonderful time.

Great space, central to everything. The host is an amazing artist and has on display some of her work. Loved it.

We recently spent two weeks in Amanda’s cottage. It is a home from home … nicely furnished, comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. The TV is good and the air conditioning, in the heat, a pleasure! Morning and evening, sitting out on the cool patio looking at the garden and pool a delight. The cottage is situated close to shops and easy access to the N2. We have no hesitation in recommending Amanda’s cottage for your next visit to Somerset West. Great little spot for a weekend stay. We were in town most of the time, so the bedroom and bathroom was sufficient, and there was space to sit outside. It's just a 5 min drive from town centre, but you could also walk from here to the Cliff Path if you prefer. Janice was friendly and we felt very welcome.

Brilliant gem of a place. Will recommend for anyone who is looking for a break. Weekend or holiday

Marlise helped us out with an unexpected issue and helped us handle it swiftly and thoroughly. She is a great communicator and very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend any place she may manage.

5 Stars – Wonderful Stay! We had an amazing experience staying here! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful—going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The space was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location couldn't be better—most beautiful view of the ocean, close to attractions, yet still peaceful and quiet at night. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful time at 15 Albatross. The place was picture perfect, had all the comforts and even more. We felt spoilt rotten with all the treats and we loved our neat-as-a-pin home for those 4 days. We were heartsore to leave. The outdoor area was also wonderful for braaing and entertaining. Everything was just perfect!

Quirky, tasteful and that sybaritic bathroom takes first place!

Carol met me at check-in and showed me through the accommodation and amenities. She made herself available for any questions and ensured everything was in order. She was a delightful and friendly host and I would highly recommend the accommodation to any visitor no matter the purpose of their stay.

We loved our long weekend at Ben's place in Pringle Bay. The place is cute and compact. It is well positioned and has enough yard space for the dogs. Friendly hosts. Would highly recommend!
