Loved the location and the shepherds hut was perfect! Great for a night or two in an idyllic setting with stunning views, great walk and the perfect perch pub within a few mins walk away. The log fire burner was a bonus providing a warm cosy atmosphere. I loved the sound of the birds singing as well.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time during our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made us feel right at home. Communication with Jon was easy and smooth from start to finish. We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Great host and wonderful place to stay. Had a really relaxing time and loved the fire pit and wood-fired hot tub. Would definitely stay again.

Very close to, just 15 minutes, but out of the sprawl of Oxford; in beautiful farmland with fabulous walks and charming pubs, rivers for dipping into. Beautifully decorated space with everything one needs, quietly located in the corner of a field. Really comfortable bed with cushions, perfect place to read, with good light and a window. Recommend local-ish Mason Arms for relaxed coffee and papers. Good shower and thoughtful makeup mirrors in communal bathroom. Very quick response (booked hours before!) and kind and welcoming welcome.

I booked this for my parents in law and Sue was brilliant. Very warm and welcoming and was happy for us to visit them as much as we liked. Beautiful garden with beautiful views, will definitely be booking again.

Really lovely cabin, well looked after and very clean. Host was very helpful and pleasant. As others have written, the cabin is located near the house and not quite in the middle of the woods as expected, but hosts fully respected privacy and we only saw them on arrival. Toilet is a little cramped but otherwise everything was perfect. A really lovely stay

It is bigger than you think with more than enough space for me and two children. We will definitely be back for some more peaceful nights away.

Lovely, cosy Shepherd's Hut. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Sandra was super helpful and responsive. Took a camping stove to cook a full English outside in the morning sunshine. 7 mins drive to Seacourt park and ride for Oxford centre. I'd book again.

Lovely shepherds hut in a beautiful location with private garden. Merriscourt Team were very helpful and responsive and the hut had all amenities for an overnight stay while attending local festival.

Amazingly set out with everything in a small space. The setting is beautiful and peaceful The bed was super comfy too. Ann, the host was very helpful, and I can highly recommend her produce too.

The hut was absolutely lovely, in a great field which was perfect for the dog to run around freely. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. The BBQ was great with logs provided. The local pub was brilliant and there was some great walks nearby. Would highly recommend and will return at some point in the future!

Had an absolutely stunning stay in the Shepherd's hut! We decided to stay here for a peaceful nights break after exploring the cotswolds and it was everything we wanted! Wonderful place to relax and truly enjoy the countryside. The directions Pauline gave were really clear so it was very easy to find! The hut was spotless, really cosy! We had everything we needed and spent the evening having a BBQ and stargazing whilst sat by the fire pit! The bed was really comfortable, bathroom really clean! We will definitely be coming back, such a wonderful stay and truly lovely host!

Aimee’s place was fantastic and exceeded our expectations! It had everything you could possibly need for a few nights stay and lots of extra touches as well which are always nice. I wouldn’t change anything about the hut and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had the most wonderful 2 night stay at the Swift Shepherds Hut! Spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need. The hot tub was a perfect addition at the end of a busy day exploring! Thank you Caroline❤️

We had a great stay. Rachel and her family were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed walks around the hut and some local pubs, reccomended by Rachel. Would highly recommend for a weekend away.

From arrival to departure everything felt very welcoming. We met Mark on arrival walking through a lovely path with a mini waterfall to the shepard hut. The hut overlooks a sheep field and it was lovely. The place itself has a bbq and bench if needed but we made use of local pub called the plough to eat. Now the hut itself was lovely we didn't want to leave. The bed on a platform added extra cosniness with a stargazing window and a window to look at the sheep. Bathroom had all amenities like shower gel, conditioner and shampoo with towels and a toilet. Kitchen had sugar and tea and coffee. We would return in a heartbeat lovely little hut and lovely host.

Beautiful shepherd’s hut and included everything we’d need for a couple days break. Great privacy but with the safety of not being in a field on our own! The wood fired hot tub and bbq/fire pit were a great additional and we made use of the games too.

I live locally and booked the shepherd's hut for my parents for a night. They were absolutely delighted with the stay - it's extremely comfortable, well appointed and spacious. They commented that the shower was fantastic, and there are loads of thoughtful touches all around the cabin as you explore. Thanks again, Mandy and Martin - I'm sure they'll be back!

A lovely stay in the shepherd's hut at Bruern Farm, stunning peaceful location making it a great place for some r&r, with everything you could need. The fire pit a real bonus to take advantage of the weather we luckily had, lots to do and see. A great breakfast at the Bruern farm shop cafe, lovely trips to Burford (the garden co. is a must if your a gardener), food at The Fox in Barrington (lovely setting by the river) and The Old Shed.
