Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things. Transformed from my everyday potting shed, it’s now a spacious, warm and welcoming hideaway for two which I’m very proud of.

Treveddw Farm Cabin

Welcome to Treveddw Farm Cabin. The Cabin can sleep 4, (one sleeping on a single airbed, bedding provided, must be requested by guest). I would suggest it is too small a space for 4 adults, but your choice entirely. The farm is a perfect base for walking and touring from. There is a small secure garden. Dogs are most welcome (2 small or 1 large, 1 small). Please don’t leave your dogs unattended in the cabin at anytime. No smoking on the farm, or in the cabin. Thanks

Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

This cottage comes with a wood fired hot tub and a private stretch of river with fishing rights.
