Serene fully-furnished 900 sq. ft. studio guest-suite 6 blocks up the hill from the beach, with 180 degree ocean-view, and 180 degree mountain and wilderness view from a private balcony. The guesthouse is artfully decorated, and is quiet. Our whole neighborhood is affluent and beautiful with plenty of beaches to explore. It is the perfect place to stay and visit remote Big Sur to the south, but also be close to the incredible restaurants & shops in Carmel. Our guests prefer a no pets policy.

Carmel By the Canyon

Our studio is located in Carmel, less than a mile from the town center. The house faces out over Hatton Canyon and affords a private rural setting yet close to Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, etc. 15 Minute walk to Carmel downtown. A hub to explore Big Sur and all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Due to certain regulatory changes regarding minimum stay, the dates you are requesting may not be available. While we prefer longer stays, do make an inquiry to us about the dates you want.

This lovely 1904 Folk Victorian home is a favorite of families (kids aged 10+) and weekenders. You’ll find convivial spaces, solid wood furniture, and bright common areas with plenty of windows. Stroll to town and Lovers Point Beach, or fill your day with plans and change them at a moment’s notice. The central location on the Monterey Peninsula is perfect for all things Pacific Grove, Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Big Sur. The owner-host inspects the house personally prior to every guest.
