This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Upstairs there is bedroom. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santa's village is about 50 kilometers so I recommend to rent a car. there is no public transportation

We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Eräelämys Lapissa! Täällä voit lämmittää ruokaa tulilla ja saunoa puusaunassa. Saunamökki rauhallisella paikalla, noin 25 kilometriä Rovaniemeltä. Sijaitsee toisen mökin pihapiirissä. Saunamökin kuistilta näkymä metsään päin. Vesijohtoa ei ole, vesiastiat ovat täytettynä tullessasi. Tilava sauna. Grillikota käytössäsi (noin 50 metriä mökistä). Kuivakäymälä, johon kulku katoksen kautta. Jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, kahvinkeitin ja mikro. Ei keittolevyä. Liinavaatteet/pyyhkeet sisältyy hintaan.

Nauti 200 metriä pitkästä yksityisestä hienohiekkaisesta uimarannasta, rantasaunasta suoraan järven rannalla sekä kesäkeittiöstä. Yöttömät yöt, järviuinti ja kalastus tekevät tästä täydellisen kesämökkikokemuksen – ilman ruuhkia. Sisällä talossa odottavat sauna, takka ja avara oleskelutila. A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

You can see Torne river and hear the rapids.

Our cottage is conveniently located along well-maintained roads, making it easily accessible. Situated near the river, the Swedish border is just across the water, allowing for a seamless journey into Sweden, perhaps via the ice road. The absence of unnecessary lights around provides the perfect setting for observing the Northern Lights.
