A very comfortable and clean home, in a wonderful location, with amazing hosts. It had all we needed for a very relaxing few days enjoying the local beaches. Thank you Sofia, we look forward to returning when we are next able to.

Wir waren für 4 Nächte mit unseren Jungs (6 Monate und 5 Jahre) in diesem netten Apartement. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool war für unseren Sohn das Highlight,auch wenn er Ende April noch sehr kalt war. Den Strand kann man zu Fuß in ca.15 Minuten erreichen.Leider war der Zugang gesperrt.Aber mit dem Auto findet man schnell zu weiteren Zugängen in der Nähe. Peniche und Obidos sind auch schnell erreichbar. Wir fühlten uns in dem Apartement sehr wohl.Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet,so dass auch gekocht werden kann.Auf den Balkonen/Terrassen hat man fast den ganzen Tag Sonne. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war super und schnell. Außerdem erwartete uns zur Begrüßung ein Obstkorb und eine Flasche Wein. Wir können dieses Apartement nur weiterempfehlen.

Very comfortable, well equipped and clean apartment for exploring the Peniche area - it feels much larger than the photos appear. For us, being so close to the beach and surf breaks was great. We visited some of the recommended restaurants, and particularly liked the Baleal end of the bay. A trip to Óbidos is well worth it. Sara was a very helpful host.

Wir waren vom 30.03. bis 09.04. in dieser sehr einladenden Unterkunft und haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung, was für uns perfekt war, um dem Trubel des Stadtlebens für eine Weile zu entfliehen. Dank der kurzen Wege konnten wir herrliche Spaziergänge an den Klippen genießen. Die Wohnung selbst war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Gemütlich, sauber und mit liebevollen Details eingerichtet. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht an Brit, die uns mit wertvollen Tipps zur Umgebung und besonderen Sehenswürdigkeiten versorgt hat. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit reibungslos und herzlich. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!

A very comfortable and well functioning house on the 1st floor with everything in it for a relaxed vacation. Very quiet neiborhood at end of July. 5 min walk from tennis court where you can arrange lessons via Felner academy. 5 min drive from the beach. Good communication with Ana. Thank you, we hope to stay here again!

Place is exactly as described. Beautiful balcony and views. Comfy beds and kitchen amenities. Very clean upon arrival. Easy to walk to the beach and other local places. Secure building as well. Definitely take note of the weather. If cooler, request portable heaters as the unit stays naturally cooler. Thank you for sharing your home and hope to return to Peniche again.

We enjoyed our stay at Pedro's place! Prior to arriving, Pedro was great with communication. This was something that continued during our stay :) The space is very cozy and definitely feels like home—there was coffee, tea, and essentials like olive oil and spices in the kitchen, and a really great desk set up for those who need to do some work. I loved the ability to have a stand-up desk with a monitor and external keyboard while traveling. The internet held up well through many Zoom calls. We had a car and found it easy to find parking during our week-long stay. The neighborhood is extremely walkable; as other reviews mention there is a great pastry shop nearby and a very nice butcher (Manuel) who sells really yummy meatballs. I would recommend the stay and would stay here again.

I had a great stay at Leo´s place. The flat is big and comfortable, located close to the city center and just next to the beach. Communication with Leo was very fast, reliable and friendly.

Octavio had great communication. Somehow I booked the wrong dates leaving me one night without a room. He had already booked the apt for that night but found me somewhere else in the neighborhood instantly. That took a lot of stress off me

Erwin and Belle were wonderful hosts. I can’t say enough about their kindness. The house was immaculate. The location is fabulous. Beautiful views and easy access to multiple beaches. We had a great meal at Tugos. We also cooked in the well stocked kitchen. I highly recommend staying here and would come back.

Great property, clean, tidy and nicely furnished. Lovely little courtyard to enjoy the afternoon sun. Neighbours super friendly. Host was really helpful and responsive to any questions I had. Easily walkable to beaches and town. Great value for money.

Es war super! Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Der Garten war toll für unseren Hund und unser 2 jähriger Sohn. Natürlich auch für uns zum entspannen. Ohne Auto ist man allerdings etwas aufgeschmissen. Jose ist sehr zuvorkommend! Er hat extra ein hochstuhl für mein Sohn besorgt und hat klare Anweisungen gegeben. Da die Luftfeuchtigkeit diesen Sommer höher war, hat er uns auch sofort 2 entlüftet zur Verfügung gestellt. Es war echt toll! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke an den tollen Gastgeber Jose!

This beautiful house is in a fantastic location near the cliffs. It’s peaceful, and you can easily walk to the beach, cafés, restaurants, and surf spots. The house has all the amenities you need, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. It was really cool to find yoga mats and a little corner for the kids to play. The beds are comfortable, and there’s plenty of space. Joanna, the host, is extremely responsive and always helped us whenever we needed anything. The only areas for improvement would be reducing the humidity in the basement and improving the internet connection.

It's so good I almost want to write a bad review to keep the place all to myself. The space is amazing in every sense, spacious, well-equipped, with breathtaking views and lots of options for both privacy and group activities. Claudia is an outstanding host, highly helpful and responsive. The views — don't get me started on the views, Peniche (and this particular spot) are forever in my heart and the hearts of my friends who joined me. I wish I could buy a place right next to this one. 100/10, see you guys next year!

We love Baleal and this is a lovely place on the small Baleal peninsular. Great location with wonderful sunsets. Charming and very well equipped house. Easy walking distance to both Baleal beaches. Good storage for surfboards. Inês was a superb host responding very quickly to everything. Can warmly recommend.

just as expected, location is great and access directly to the beach. restaurants and food store minutes walking. overall nice place. the only issue was it's on the main road so the front has traffic noise but only in the day as night is quiet with few cars. the building carries noise a bit, we had neighbors that were noisy in the day with kids, so that of course is just a matter of who's staying there. would stay again.

Nuno é muito gentil e um ótimo anfitrião. Deu-nos ótimas dicas sobre o surf na região. O apartamento está muito bem localizado, de frente para a praia, em local tranquilo e silencioso. Está próximo de restaurantes e comércio, sendo possível fazer quase tudo a pé. Pretendemos retornar num futuro próximo.

La casa es tal cual las fotos, linda, comoda y funcional! Tiene un balcon muy lindo y la verdad te dan ganas de quedarte mas tiempo!

We waren iets eerder toegekomen dan gepland. Via de goeie en snelle communicatie van Kristof konden we onze valiezen al vroegtijdig droppen. We werden heel goed ontvangen, heel gastvrij en open. We kregen verschillende tips van wat we konden doen in Peniche. Het verblijf zelf was zeer proper en mooi. Wanneer we vragen hadden, hielp Kristof ons steeds verder. Prachtige mensen, prachtig huis, een aanrader!

Nuno war wahrscheinlich der beste Gastgeber, den wir jemals bei AirBnB hatten. Freundlich, herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Für uns als Surfer war es der perfekte Urlaub. Nuno hat uns sogar Bretter zu einem mehr als fairen Preis besorgt und hatte auch super Tips für lokale Surfshops, Restaurants und auch für richtig tolle Wellen! Wenn wir geschrieben haben, hat er sofort geantwortet und hat uns geholfen. Bleib bitte so! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We loved our stay at Nico and Evelien’s flat. They were incredibly helpful and friendly hosts. The flat was spotless and spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us without a car. Walkable to restaurants and beaches. Would definitely return!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Baleal. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Kinder liebten den Pool und zum Strand sind es nur 3 Gehminuten.

Beautiful accommodation and Ricardo is a very courteous, friendly and dependable host. Only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops. It’s definitely worth the money. We felt right at home!
