Was a very fun place. If you do you’re shopping right, there’s no reason to leave your entire stay

Place was unique and beautiful. Traveled with my son to relax and do some fishing. We stayed in March so it was very quiet and private. The hot tub was great. Initially it needed some attention so I called and someone was sent out within an hour and fixed it. Not a negative comment but the slope to the water is a bit steep. They have constructed steps and a walking path down to help make it easier. Just something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with a cute loft which wind be great for kids. We will definitely consider staying here in the future.

We had a great stay at this property at Hyco Lake! The house was just what we needed, and we all enjoyed the paddleboards, kayaks, and floats provided.

Great place to stay

We stay in a variety of rentals, etc., so we have comparisons for a property such as this. No complaints here. Prior communication before checkin was prompt. Checkin was uneventful ( that’s what you want.) Everything was in order. Linens well stocked. Comfy beds. Don’t let the exterior fool you…the house was SPACIOUS and well laid out for multiple family use. Water toys were nice. The only problem was we wanted to…but couldn’t stay longer. Everyone had a great time. We would definitely rent this abnb again.

Beautiful view!!! Host is wonderful to communicate with!! There is plenty of nice outdoor space to enjoy the view of the lake. The wildlife you see in its natural habitat warmed my heart, there were deer, rabbits, turtles, squirrels, birds, and we also got to see horses, a donkey that we fondly named “corn cob”, pigs, goats, chickens, etc…. We will be coming back! Would recommend this place!!

The house was great and Drew was a helpful host. We had a nice relaxing long weekend and enjoyed hanging out on the dock, swimming, and kayaking. The house was easy to find and super clean when we arrived!

Lanae was just the kindest hostess. We were coming to Durham to see our daughter and her partner. Suddenly their dog fell ill and Lanae was able to take us earlier. Her house is lovely - great pool, squeaky clean and near a beautiful park. We are so grateful for a perfect stay. We will be back! Laura and Joe

Laurie was nice. Great communication. The place was conveniently located close to VIR. Located on a beautiful piece of property, but we spent so much time at the track that we did not get to utilize any of the amenities.

Very quaint and quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The jetted tub wasn't operational, but roomy and no lack of hot water. It was a great end to a stressful day of work. The hot tub was a key amenity that one should take the opportunity to enjoy. I highly recommend this location when looking for that special getaway. We plan to look at other locations that this host has to offer, as we prefer a kitchen to prepare meals. If they are anything like this location, we do not doubt they will meet, or exceed, our expectations.

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

We fell in love with this place. We weren’t ready to leave. We’d definitely stay again. Great space and hosts. Amy is very proactive and responsive. She and her team went above and beyond their responsibilities as hosts. We got an Easter basket of some of our favorite snacks and drinks! It was so thoughtful and unexpected. Amy seems genuine and is down to Earth. I’m very impressed with how she runs her place. It’s very clean and stocked. The kitchen had more dishes and cookware than I’ve ever seen at an Airbnb and we’ve seen a lot! The coffee and tea bar came in handy. All of the appliances were new and functioned well. The bedrooms were comfortable and inviting. The large TVs were definitely a plus! The bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels. I did not feel like I needed to come in and “clean” before we could settle into the space. Amy even found us a barber for my son! I felt comfortable asking her and she delivered. We were very happy with how the haircut came out.

Yuan was an amazing host super accommodating with my last-minute booking after our original plans fell through. After a quick conversation, he had no problem with us bringing pets, which was a huge relief. The home was clean, in a quiet, lovely neighborhood, and bonus there’s a pool! Highly recommend.

Our sixth stay at Pat's farm with each visit topping the last. There is plenty to do on the property or just relax in the peaceful surroundings. There are stores and markets nearby, you are also close to the lovely town of Hillsborough. Enjoy the world class beef, eggs, fresh garden vegetables and more. Pictures and descriptions of this destination gem under promise on the amazing experience. The cherry on top: everyone at the farm is helpful, gracious and kind; we just love them and can't wait for our next visit.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Very clean and peaceful. Never had a problem with getting in contact with any of the host. Worth the stay for sure!

Great deal! Beautiful area! Great amenities! Peaceful and quiet and absolutely as described. Avery was communicative the entire time and didn't hesitate to help when we had any questions. I recommend to anybody looking to just get away and recharge for a couple days. Definitely look forward to visiting again in the future.

We absolutely loved staying at Joe and Megan's. The place was perfect for the getaway that we were hoping for. We spent time on the deck, dock, and used the kayak. It was quiet, secluded and beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed. We never got around to using the grill, but if we get a chance to stay again, we definitely will. Overall well done property! We would love to stay again.

Our stay at Kristen's Lakefront Paradise was exceptional. Every aspect of our trip exceeded our expectations - making the reservation, communication with Kristen, super easy to check-in, immaculately clean, and so many touches to make the cabin perfect and cozy! The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway. Kristen suggested restaurants and other things to do in close proximity that we enjoyed. There were so many extras that made everyone in the family happy. We loved the view, deck (comfortable furniture), outdoor area, and games. No need to be concerned with toiletries and many other "extras". We absolutely plan to stay here again!

We use this for our pastors annual retreat and it provided plenty of room for them to gather and also spaces for them to find solitude when necessary and also provide a great community space outside which they really enjoyed

The lake house was a beautiful property in a quiet, peaceful, location with a ton of amenities. Not only will my family and I be returning but I also told other friends and family about this gem, We will have many more trips planned in the future and this will be our new getaway spot when visiting our family down south. Everything about this property was amazing and I cant wait to come back. I highly recommend staying at this amazing property.

A very quaint, peaceful lakeside retreat. We enjoyed staying here while visiting family in the area. Thank you for hosting us-we had a wonderful time! We especially enjoyed: - kitchen - private road for a 2 mile run - great view of the lake - morning sun in the living room is gorgeous this time of year (Fall)
