The place was cute and cozy. Great for a family getaway to relax and enjoy nature.

Marcy was a phenomenal host! She was very responsive to any questions and took the initiative to check on us during our stay (via text). She was also very accommodating to our travel schedule. The home was just as advertised in a quite neighborhood and backs to a beautiful memorial greenway. It was well stocked with toiletries, no need to make late night runs to the store if you forgot toothpaste, deodorant, soap, or dental floss. This is the best rental in Ames and will definitely be back.

We had a great stay with Bertha. Her place was cozy, and we slept well. She made us feel welcome with friendly conversation and provided a special parking spot on her property. Bertha also communicated clearly, ensuring we knew exactly what we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was private, and sharing a bathroom with another guest was no problem at all. We’ll definitely stay there again when we're in the area.

This place was perfect for our girls weekend at the Tulip Time Festival. Kathy & John both were very friendly & easy to work with & always accessible with any questions or concerns. Although it was a short drive from Pella it was nice to get away from all the hustle of downtown & retreat to a quite neighborhood. The furnishings for this home were definately above average for what you would expect including anything you would want for kitchen right down to the quality of TP😉

Perfect lake view home just minutes from the nearest grocery store, but far enough away to feel like an out of town stay. Large rooms made gathering easy and that master suite was wonderful! We let cousins play basketball out front and watched lots of people walking dogs and enjoying the neighborhood. It felt very safe and homey. Thank you Nicholas!

Felt way to comfortable, i enjoyed my stay she was a good host, did/ had everything right and it was cheap definitely would stay again

My partner, our dog, and I stayed at Greg's for a night while in town for a concert. We appreciated the clear instructions for check-in, recommendations for restaurants, clean space, and beautiful yard. Greg answered our questions quickly and communicated well. If we find ourselves back in Des Moines, we will definitely stay again. Also, we took his recommendation for Classic Frozen Custard - yum!
