There is so much to do in just abt a 10 minute walking distance! Shops and food and even just a beautiful neighborhood to walk around. The home was comfortable and had just about anything you needed from utensils to cleaning supplies. As far as communication goes, I txtd the host twice. I got a response about two hours later for my first text, however, it was later in the evening. I msgd her a second time, letting her know I’d be leaving a day early, and never got a response. Overall, the place was great, the host(s) really make you feel welcome with little treats left or you, and I’d stay again if I was in the area!

Oh…my…gosh! Paradise. There are beautiful and trees birds everywhere! It is quiet private clean warm and comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. There are windows that let in so much light but the blinds and landscaping keep it very private. If you cook there is EVERY implement and dish you might need! Lots of free coffee bubble bath and a lovely fireplace. You need a car to get into town but Independence Albany Corvallis are all within 10-20 minutes. It is also a GREAT deal. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at the carriage house and I'm officially in love. I travel back and forth between Seattle and Albany a lot and this is now my go-to spot. I want to check out the other house/rooms on the property/grounds as well, but keep picking the carriage house because it's just SO unique, so incredibly cozy. It has that kind of classic/vintage feel but also a great mix of rustic and just gorgeous modern decor. The upstairs balcony is such an amazing spot to sit and relax, plus the hot tub makes it just a next-level-cozy getaway spot. The location is so peaceful and this time we even got to see the "neighbors" (sheep!) grazing next door. Lots more to do in town nearby than I realized last time, and will definitely explore more of Independence next time. Hillary & Priscilla are always such fabulous hosts as well - quick to respond, super easygoing and friendly, and can't recommend them/the property enough. :)

We enjoyed our stay. The setting is very peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The furniture is very comfortable! The tv is easy to use and has lots of choices. The bathroom has a bidet, and the heat and a floor light comes on when you enter. It’s so nice! We ordered dinner and breakfast from our host, and it was delicious with generous portions. Also, there was a great little refrigerator. The host provided lots of extras! We spent hours exploring Minto-Brown Park Island Park. We also sipped wine on the deck at The Willamette Valley Winery. Its beautiful! Both places are a close drive from the stay. We wanted a quick getaway and we are so happy we discovered this lovely home.

This place allowed us to be together when we wanted to be a large group and yet had the space to allow people to work remote. The location allowed easy access to Salem and other destinations such as the Oregon coast for a day.

My son and I booked this spot last minute as part of our spring break road trip. LeAnne was quick to message letting us know the hot tub was currently undergoing repairs should we wish to cancel. That wasn't a dealbreaker for us but I mention it because I really appreciated LeAnne's fast and proactive communication! The BnB itself was lovely! Clean, comfortable beds and sofa, with everything as described. The view was beautiful and the surrounding area is gorgeous! The perfect respite after a long day of driving.

Our extended stay was relaxing and comfortable. We highly recommend!! Would love to come back.

Incredible stay, beautiful treehouse! Loved every moment of our stay here and would absolutely come back. Amazing use of the space, felt more than comfortable!

Very nice and cozy home; I stayed 14 days and I loved every minute. The hosts were very responsive and proactive. I had no issues with it being a main road but I suggest to ALWAYS park in reverse so it is easy when you are trying to come out into the traffic. I would definitely stay here again.
