Located a few hundred feet from the Iris gardens at Horton farm, a six acre garden space with over 1400 Iris varieties. Bloom season is April and May. The cottage was built in 1945 on my family's heritage farm. She's located next to the old barn alongside a small Creek. Inside you'll find a fresh colorful landscape of hand made cabinets, concrete countertops and furniture. The heated and Polished concrete floor is ready for farm life. You'll be delighted in the vintage items and local artwork.

A Mountain Rose is a cozy, 2-bdrm home in the magnificent pines & cedars of Pollock Pines in the Sierra Mountains. Trees are bountiful & their smells are relaxing & refreshing! Our little home is a great place for a romantic getaway, families, or friends. We are located 2 miles from Hwy 50 & about 50 miles from Sacramento or So. Lake Tahoe. It's a quick drive to Apple Hill & Placerville. EV drivers, with prior approval, use type2plug$30 charge. Pets MUST be pre-approved; extra $20/night/pet.

The fall colors are spectacular for a hike up scenic Highway 88! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 and 1/2 from Tahoe)
