My husband and I—both musicians—came to Kaayal in Varkala for a secluded retreat to make music, and what we experienced went far beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Nobby, the gracious host, who made sure we felt at home and fully taken care of. The property itself is an absolute gem—nestled by the lake, surrounded by nature, and so serene that we woke up each morning to the sounds of birds and the gentle rustle of leaves. The view of the lake alone is enough to calm your soul and inspire creativity. Special shoutout to Vicky and Kichu, the incredible caretakers who went above and beyond to make our stay effortless and joyful. Whether it was delicious home-cooked meals, piping hot tea within minutes of asking, or just being on standby for anything we needed—they made sure we could focus on what we came to do. The house was spotless, and the bathroom looked like something straight out of an architecture magazine. Highly recommend this Air BnB!

Obwohl ich vor der Check-In Zeit kam konnte ich schon einchecken. Ich hatte die Wahl zwischen einem Zelt oder einer Hängematte. Wer auf Ameisen empfindlich reagiert sollte sich vielleicht füe die Hängematte entscheiden. Es ist eine wundervolle Umgebung direkt am Wasser. Man kann Kajaks ausleihen. Es gibt einen überdachten Shelter mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Abends wird alles mit Lichterketten beleuchtet.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Sapphire Suite in Trivandrum! Located in the heart of the city at Palayam, this luxurious 1BHK apartment exceeded all expectations. The location is perfect—right in the middle of everything, from cafes and markets to cultural spots and historic landmarks. The apartment itself is stunning. Decorated in calming tones of white and blue with gold accents, it has the feel of a stylish hotel with the warmth of a home. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—from the plush furniture to the fully equipped kitchen. The amenities were a huge bonus: a serene swimming pool for relaxing evenings and a well-maintained gym to keep up with workouts. What truly made my experience exceptional was the host—genuine, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Always available and truly went out of his way to ensure I had a seamless and memorable stay. The view from the terrace was m stunning, and we loved spending time there. There's even a party hall, which made our evenings extra special.
