With its location adjacent to the harbour and in the centre of the village, Grade 2 listed Quayside has had a fascinating and diverse past. Over the course of its more than two centuries nestled between the centre of the village and the harbour it has served as a pilchard press, net loft, doctor's surgery and even as the premises of the local undertaker! Following extensive recent renovation it has been transformed into chic, comfortable and spacious apartments that showcase the character of the building. The superking bed, which can be converted into twin beds upon request, is topped off with high quality linen guaranteeing a luxurious night's sleep. All apartments possess full kitchen facilities including Nespresso coffee machines, free WiFi, TVs in living rooms and all bedrooms, and Amazon Echo devices. The generously proportioned wet rooms contain rain and handheld showers and heated towel rails, whilst fluffy white towels are provided. Fully centrally heated. Guests have access to a laundry room with washer and dryer. We generally stay in the same building and, when there, are available to assist you or try to answer any questions you may have during your stay. St Austell (15 minutes) has a wide selection of supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl) as well as the nearest mainline train station. The Annex is just a two minute walk down to the sheltered sandy beach of Portmellon, where you will find the popular beachside pub and a coffee shack (closed in the winter) which sells savoury snacks and cakes. We are only a few minutes walk to the historic harbour of Mevagissey, with it's many restaurants, pubs and shops, and to the south the beautiful coastal path to the quiet sandy beach at Chapel point. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project are just a short drive away.

Samphire, fisherman's cottage.

A characterful and cosy fisherman's cottage, just perfect for two (one double bed) and just a stones throw away from one of Cornwall's most picturesque harbours. This cottage has been lovingly restored by its artist owners, and their eye for design is plain to see. Situated over three floors, Samphire is bright and welcoming, set at the end of one of Mevagissey's prettiest cobbled opes. With shops, restaurants, cafes, traditional pubs and the coastal path just a stroll away.

The Gig House
