The timeless village has been the setting for many films and TV dramas including About Time, Poldark and the Wild West. The South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep and St Mawes, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Caerhays etc are all nearby. Alternatively decide to just relax, pour yourself a glass of wine and let the world turn a little!

Portreath is a village on the north coast of Cornwall. Portreath is three miles NWof Redruth and has a harbour and is a Sandy beach cove. Portreath has several pubs that serve tasty food and local drinks. There is a bakery, corner shop, several take always and a few cosy cafes too that serve drinks, cakes and light lunches. Dogs allowed on beach most of year but between 1st July and 30th August can only go on there b4 10am and after 6pm. This is NOT a disability friendly accommodation

The Lifeboat

This unique glamping unit has been crafted here at Rosevidney Farm over the past 18 months. She is a former oil industry escape craft and when she came her in 2019 was still fully functioning with engine, seatbelts, emergency supplies etc. Now she sits in our Glamping meadow alongside our Safari Tents and Russian Truck. The lifeboat will sleep four in comfort with a King-size Bed and twin singles. There is an ensuite shower and loo, central heating as well as a handcrafted wood burning stove

Little Sandyacres is a spacious private flat, specially designed with holidays in mind. It sits nestled within palm trees of the beautifully tendered cornish garden of Sandyacres House, tucked away off a little, quiet lane which you can use to access all the joys of Cornwall. A great space for a couples getaway but also large and open enough for a group or family holiday of 5. Chalet Starfish is in an amazing spot facing directly onto the dunes, just a short stroll to Gwithian beach. Great for walking, surfing and exploring the surrounding coast and nature. It’s a truly peaceful location with no passing traffic, close to cafes and pubs. We welcome well behaved dogs. We've recently refreshed the house with new flooring, paint and furniture but it still has all the quirkiness of a classic beach chalet, comfortable and relaxed. Short breaks available.
