The horses stopped by several times a day. It was magical. Just a short drive to the ocean where we conveniently parked our car on the beach. We had plenty of room on the beach. People were not on top of each other. It was a wonderful vacation! The house was spacious and nicely decorated. the kitchen was well stocked.

Great spot. Secluded back yard with plenty of seating. Amenities as described in the listing. Walkable to shops and dining. Donny was very responsive when I had a few questions. I would recommend checking out this home and Cape Charles.

The house and the host were incredible. Immediately upon arriving, we felt at home and ready to relax. There are so many five star touches in this house --- every room has its own sound machine; there is a top notch massage chair in the living room; and there is ample space to get away while all being in the same home. Our kids were asking within the first hour if this could be the forever house. I am looking forward to booking this space again in the future!

Highly Recommend! My first time in Norfolk and I almost don’t want others to know about this place because it will be booked whenever I want to return. Peacefully neighbor and safe for women solo-traveler. The backyard is a dream and everything works great inside the home.

Lovely spot, well appointed with everything you need for a beach vacay. Super clean and organized. Comfy beds, awesome backyard, bikes and kayaks to borrow. We had a great stay!

This place is amazing! We can't wait to come back! Absolutely stunning home a block from a beautiful beach. More than enough room for my family of 5; would also be a great place for 2 families to share. So much outdoor space - beautiful sunsets on the porch and great stargazing! House is super clean and had everything we needed. Hosts were very communicative and friendly. This was our first stay in Sandbridge and we really enjoyed the convenience to everything - great restaurants nearby, ice cream, shopping, etc. Can't wait to come back and spend more time exploring the area. Five stars ++++! We'll be back!

Great place, great views !! This is probably the best Air Bnb that we have stayed. All our family members had great time in the house. Gina has planned the house so well, very clean and all household items you can imagine are available. Simply a great Host !!

My family had the pleasure of renting this wonderful home, and I must say it exceeded all our expectations. The location was ideal, with both private and public beach access a short drive away. This home is located on a peaceful street, allowing for a good night’s rest. The house itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like a second home. The attention to detail in terms of amenities and extras was impressive. What truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional communication and hospitality provided by the host. Their instructions were clear, concise, and extremely helpful, making it easy for us to settle in and make the most of our short stay. Cape Charles is a charming town, with its quaint shops, restaurants, and theater all conveniently located on Mason Avenue, making it easy to explore and find everything we needed. My husband and I spent a week at the beach cottage. The location is unbeatable, just steps to the beach. If you are not fond of the sand, you can sit in the porch and enjoy the view. You will not want to leave! The house was clean and exactly as pictured. Cecilio and his wife answered promptly all of my questions about places to eat and things to do. If you enjoy fishing, the Ocean View pier (longest in the State of Virginia) is just a half a mile walk from the house, or a short drive. You can rent fishing poles, buy bait, and feel like a local. You can also get some crab traps and get blue crabs. The pier has a restaurant with a nice view and a full bar. The beach right outside the house feels private. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good book. If you like water activities, the cottage has plenty of beach gear, including paddle boarding, and kayaks. We wanted to relax and reconnect, and this place was the perfect spot for us. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back. Airbnb was central and just a stone throw to the beach. We had a toddler and it was very safe and comfortable. We brought a travel crib but they did have one actually in the closet for us which was excellent, coffee was great also. Went for dinner at the Willoughby fish house which was 5 minutes away and really enjoyed it! I absolutely recommend this stay and I imagine we will book again.

Everything was wonderful, easy to get in, and our host John was very helpful and friendly. Hotub was clean no trash in the yards felt just like home. comfortable beds the walkway to the beach was very private enjoyed that as well. Overall our stay was amazing and would love to be able to stay there again. We had so much fun <3 provided us with some detergent to wash clothes I thought that was thoughtful.

Cozy and peaceful spot right by the beach. John was very welcoming and proactive in making sure the property was always well-maintained. We enjoyed our stay!
