We've stay at this location a few times before, and it's our favorite. From the simplicity, to loving the house and amenities itself along with the most amazing hosts. They're great at communicating, flexible, understanding, I could go on an on. It's the perfect location for our family to stay when we come up to work on our property. We look forward to our next stay as always.

We loved everything about the Bhombay Beach House! It was private, cozy, and super clean. We appreciated the full kitchen (coffeemaker/coffee, full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, glassware, and utensils), since we like to save $$$ by making breakfast while on vacation. Bob was very responsive without being intrusive. He provided extra amenities without our asking (umbrellas and nighttime snacks!). The large-screen TV included Netflix ... lots of DVDs, too. The views of the beach (Lake Huron) from the living room and kitchen were gorgeous. It was too chilly to use the firepit, but we walked the beach on our last day, which was lovely. LOVED being so close to the water! We were just up the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island. We had never been, and it didn't disappoint. Horse-drawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, funky restaurants, lots of bicycles, fudge! Make sure to visit Bob (and Thom's) store, Cottage UP. Great finds! In short, a perfect stay in every way. I asked my 9, 8 & 5 year old about the best part of our stay, and they all agreed that the hot tub, fire pit for s’mores and the board games were the best part. I enjoyed having a quiet space to get homework done with a view of the water. This was the perfect get away for a family of 5! We enjoyed staying inside, cooking meals & enjoying the house itself. It is beautiful inside and out, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back during the summer time to go out on the lake!

Mark and Mary’s cottage was perfect for our family getaway. It’s perfectly located in close proximity to Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Harbor springs with no shortage of things to see and do. The property itself is great for families with the lake access and we were pleasantly surprised with a very nice sized dog enclosure! We would highly recommend visiting their place and will likely be back ourselves!

Comfortable and cozy stay in a beautiful setting - about 30 minutes out from Boyne and even closer to downtown Gaylord. Would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! We loved our stay at Lani's place! The location was perfect and the place had everything we needed. I also really loved the bed (I wasn't too hot) and usually have a hard time with beds at other Airbnbs I've stayed in. Also, while the place didn't have wifi we still had great service on our phones (which have Verizon service). If we come back to the area, we'd LOVE to stay here again.

Great location and perfect place to relax. Close to restaurants open during winter months. Easy drive to Mackinac City, The Soo, Escanaba, etc. Walkable to town. Games and books available for down time. Nice deck to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
