The Company House

The Company House was built in 1906 as part of the worker housing for the new Potlatch Forest Industries sawmill, located along the Palouse River in the valley to the west. The company eventually divested of its town houses, and in 2023, Paul and Vivian purchased the house. Their daughter Wendy and son-in-law Preston prepared the place and currently manage the day-to-day operations of the house. We are delighted that you chose to stay with us at The Company House!

the Singing Dog B&B (Bed and Bone) outside Deary, ID, invites you to stay and play in the adjacent Clearwater National Forest. Well-behaved pets are welcome, but not required. Forest roads, trails, and rail-beds abound for hiking, biking, xc-skiing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling. Restored 1909 Train Carriage on 145 Acres
