River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Come and enjoy the peaceful life that Goochland has to offer from it's trails at Hidden Rock and Leakes Mill parks or bring your canoe to the beautiful James River boat landing at Maidens. Take your own Goochland wine tour and visit Byrd Cellars, Grayhaven and Elk Island wineries, or our local Hill Top Distillery.

Follow a long gravel driveway before you can view this comfortable house in the country. This house is 12 easy miles from the Town of Farmville and all it has to offer. Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College is near by. Visit High Bridge State Park for hiking and Greenfront is a shopping destination. Lots of dining options will appeal to every taste and plenty of other activities to enjoy in this area. There is no phone-internet or satellite at The Hide-A-Way, Cell phones do work.

This 2000 sq ft home has been tastefully furnished with updated amenities, and antique furnishings. You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Come and disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other in the Treehouse at Backabit Farm. You can enjoy the indoor fireplace or outside propane fire pit! Private deck for gazing at the stars or watching the wildlife. Two person hammock tucked under the trees! Inside you will find king bed with a view out of the three large windows, loveseat, tv, microwave, small fridge, coffee station and quaint bathroom with tiled shower.

Chateau Midlothian Retreat Suite

The perfect guest suite waiting to great you to relax in this cozy retreat. Full renovation completed in 2022, including all new furnishings. As an Airbnb traveler, I focused on a clean, comfortable space that guests enjoy and recommend to others. The Chateau Midlothian Suite Retreat is limited to two adult guests with reservations. No other outside guests are permitted. All guests must have their identity verified through Airbnb with at least two reviews to make reservations.
