This flat is right in the heart of Georgetown. Walking distance to all restaurants and bakeries if you are into that kind of thing :) This place is located in an old area and is part of a historic building, so be mindful of that and don’t expect modern elevators or wide space parking lots. You are in historical area :) I stayed here with my almost 80 year old parents and they did well on stairs to get to the apartment, no problem. The apartment is clean and has all you need for a short stay. There is no real living room there, it’s a combination of super nice kitchen and high chairs at the bar area. I found this place very cozy and well laid out. The host is the best! Super helpful, very responsive and very kind! Thank you so much for everything and we will be back again!

A+++ Host Great location Fun house I misunderstood and thought there were four bedrooms instead of three bedrooms with a ballroom that could be turned into a bedroom but didn’t have a door. Nevertheless, we were wonderfully comfortable and we had a fantastic host.

This was a great location for our family vacation to Washington D.C. It is so close to the Metro, and there are a ton of shops and restaurants in walking distance. We had some minor issues come up, but Philip was quick to respond and fix things when possible. Only negative is that the house is right off the main road, so road noise can be an issue if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, a great stay, and we would definitely go back!

My stay was wonderful! From the easy and fast check in with detailed instructions to the cleanliness and organization of my Flohome. The staff provided rapid responses to any questions I had which was another plus. I look forward to booking again soon.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for our family of five. The location is spectacular. Alexandria is great to walk around, with lots of great restaurants, and it is an easy and quick trip to DC. The house was spotless and comfortable - a great blending of old and new. Amy is a great host. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back here and recommend it to others.

I’m so happy I found this place. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The picture truly do not do this place justice. My friends and I were so comfortable in this apartment, and the views were incredible!! Walking distance from the Wharf which was incredible. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be staying here again!!

We had an amazing stay at this charming farmhouse w our young kids and elderly parents! The property was perfect for a relaxing getaway that we all needed. The chickens were a delight, and collecting fresh eggs was a unique experience. I cant tell you how much my kids love it. The pond added a serene touch, and the outdoor movie setup was a fantastic way to end our days. The host Hannah were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. She is so pleasant to work with and very responsive. She sent us the local recommended restaurant list and we love them all. We did a day trip to Washington DC easily from this location. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat! Such an amazing airbnb stay and we will come back.

We had an incredible stay at Mafe’s Airbnb in Washington, DC! Mafe was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The house was sparkling clean, incredibly comfortable, and felt like a true home away from home. The beds were some of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in, and the bathrooms and kitchen were pristine. The location was perfect for our family—safe, with fantastic restaurant options nearby, and so convenient for the metro, Ubers, and rideshares. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely book this place again whenever we return to DC. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
