This is a traditional Shack with modern comforts. It’s the sort of place you might remember from childhood holidays. Located right on a beautiful bay it is the perfect getaway for families or couples. Walk out the front gate and you are on the beach. Fall asleep at night to the sound of the ocean. I want guests to feel nostalgic, to say this is what we did when we were kids. To share those memories with their own kids and to make new memories together. The Hideout Cabin

Take yourselves away on a stunning waterfront nature retreat at this private, peaceful and stylish solar powered cabin in the middle of the Tasmanian wilderness. Set up for up to four adults, this gorgeous home offers waterfront views, two luxurious bedrooms, a large kitchen with a Glemgas 6 burner gas stove and oven, an indoor fireplace, coffee machine and a fire-pit for enjoying balmy evenings. Beds made up before your stay and towels provided. Have fun with the Kayak’s , push bike and fishing rod equipment on site also. Free bottle of sparkling and free WIFI. The kitchen has had a modern renovation in 2025, new kitchen modern appliances have been introduced to this area.

Camp Rising ~ Cygnet, Tasmania

Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.

Maning Reef Sandy Bay, Café is next door

The MANING REEF HOUSE is located in Sandy Bay’s affluent golden mile, just in walking distance to Wrest Point Casino, Sandy Bay Centre and the popular Nutgrove Beach and opposite a beautiful water edge Reserve. The views are amazing, you have uninterrupted and spectacular views of the Derwent River, Tasman Bridge and the Hobart CBD skyline. In Good Company Café is next door. It’s open 6am–3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 6am–10pm from Thursday to Monday.

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.

Warm and cosy studio at this unique and tranquil getaway with a lovely view of the sea and plenty of parking. Only meters from the water's edge... some of my guests sit on the waterfront and have breakfast and / or coffee ☕️ read a book...This Studio is totally got everything you will need.
