The cottage includes 9 beds with extra linens and towels, plus a washer and dryer for your convenience. 8 of the beds are twins with 1 queen room. Whether you’re curling up by the fire or enjoying the mountain views, this is your place to unwind!

Rest up! because Oconee County boasts some of the greatest views, waterfalls, hiking, biking, rafting, and fly fishing most within a 15 minute drive! Please do NOT bring your watercraft. It is not allowed.

Gathering Moss Cottage is a wonderful family getaway or 2 to 3 couples retreat on Lake Burton. 30 minutes to Helen and half the price! Great views from the screened porch while reading a book or watching the kids play in the lake. Make some great memories at this fantastic cottage. New firepit is in just off the steps leading to the lake. Kayak's are available on site as well as pontoon boat rental from your host delivered to the dock, no pu or drop off.
