My stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful ambiance and thoughtful details throughout the space. Well, before I reached Reshma's place, I received her text with all the details. She greeted me very warmly, which is something every Airbnb host should learn. The rooms were very clean and nice, the washroom was spotless, and the view from the room was amazing. It was a very peaceful place, just 25 minutes away from Baba Neem Karoli's spot, around 9.7 km. The only thing was that the kitchen seemed a bit less clean, but otherwise, Reshma treated me very well. Thank you for having me!

Stayed at their beautiful place with the coziest home pretty close to Nainital Mall Road. Amazing Hosts, Extremely Courteous, and very helpful. We had a 3 week stay and it was just fabulous! The balcony is the best part of the house. The view from balcony is much much better than what you get to see in pictures. We kept thinking if we could extend our stay. No one in my family felt like going back. House has great positive vibes! Bushra is truly an awesome host. She was always available for almost all the things whenever required during our 3 week stay! I certainly want to go back and stay in the same house in near future. If u want to stay away from hustle bustle of the city yet close to move around by car and see all the tourist place then this is the place to be in! Took my parents out after a long time. We loved our stay there especially the private garden area, pretty well maintained with a lovely view! Location was also prime, we wanted to visit primarily Kainchi Dham & Golu devta, both were pretty close. There are also a lot of premium cafés to eat and enjoy your evenings at. Even if you want to eat local and simple food, Sattal is nearby having a lot of local joints to eat from. All in all we loved mostly everything about this property! :)

The hosts' warm hospitality and friendly demeanour made the stay special. I stayed for some months. When there were some construction works going on in the premises, effort was made to minimise the trouble caused to my stay. I gained much insight and information about Almora, and the Kumaon region in general, through conversations with the hosts. Good place to stay in Almora.

The place is great and the view is amazing. The food is good too and pretty reasonable. The path to the place is a bit tricky but otherwise all great.

Firstly, the property has simply the best view of Bhimtal Lake. It's a beautiful place where you can spend time with your loved ones. The rooms also are facing the lake . The host is very helpful and friendly. It felt like home. As I am a local here I visit different properties but the Pencil House is one of the best property that I have been to in Bhimtal. Definately would recommend people to experience the beauty of this property but would also request the visitors to keep the place clean. Thank you Chitra Ji for the lovely stay ❤️

Our second trip to Majkhali area and first at Vishnu’s place. While other reviews have mostly covered everything - and accurately, I would especially like to highlight just how identical all the descriptions and photos are to the actual property. Fantastic! Serene and scenic, this place is an absolute charm for an easy break. And especially for my elderly parents and parents-in-law. You will need a car to get between here and the main road but we knew that already and had driven from Delhi. A special shoutout for the trail behind, it is therapy and again, exactly as Vishnu says. A louder clap for the caretaker and cook who were always at hand, bit never intrusive. Overall, amazing time at an amazing place.

Harsh bhaiyya is an excellent host! He is well spoken, kind-hearted and always ready to help! The homestay is just 10 minutes downhill of the snow view point! And it gives the most beautiful view of the Nainital lake and the mountains. Evening sunset view of the Nainital is a must and can't be missed from this beautiful homestay! Harsh bhaiyya is very helpful and treats you like your family. He came to pick us up from the city and even helped drop us and our luggage off on request! The food at the homestay is very tasty and feels just like home! Rooms are very spacious, with warm blankets, and cosy places available outside the homestay for sitting and enjoying the nature and scenic views! All in all, an excellent host and a beautiful homestay! Looking forward to visiting again soon :))

The host was veryyy nice. She was always there whenever I required help. The place was clean and comfortable. The view was also beautiful. I have no complaints with the place or the host or the services. Only one recommentation to the guests, this place is 10kms away from Nainital so if you are planning to commute by bike and with females then I will advice you to book a place near to Nainital.

Located conveniently, it took only 35 minutes to reach Neem Karoli Dham, 20 minutes to Bhimtal, and 45 minutes to Nainital. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures. The check-in was easy. The rooms were clean, beds all made up, toilets were well maintained. Kitchen was great. The best part was the location. It was beautiful, the property is surrounded by mountains, it is a quiet and peaceful place. The lake is just in front of the property. One thing I would like to add is that the lake is not accessible directly from the property, for that you have to go around the property, which is not much of a task though. The caretaker was helpful and could also cook food if told him beforehand. The only problem I encountered there was of mobile network. Jio network did not work there but Vodafone-Idea worked flawlessly. The place doesn't have a WiFi which is not a big issue, but would be cherry on top if made available. Overall the stay was excellent, the rooms were huge and there was also provision of bonfire.
