We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

A fully renovated 3 bedroom house in the centre of Beaufort that also has retained some of the features from when it used to be a local pub “ The Rising Sun” in the 1950’s What’s around us? We are located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons national park and within traveling distance of the following. Bike Park Wales Pen-y-Fan , Sugar Loaf , Skirrid Big Pit We are also located a 4min drive to the train station.

Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, Cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We can offer off road parking with the ease of bringing your furry friends. We are in the heart of the Clydach Gorge on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is a village pub open 6 days a week offering food Friday’s and Saturday’s. The market towns of Crickhowell and Abergavenny are close by. The national cycle network local to us is 46 and are are close to Bike Park Wales, Big Pit Blaenavon, and the Clydach Ironworks.

We welcome cyclists and have secure lock up for bikes, use of track pump, work stand ,hose etc. No children under 12.
