Use our paddle boards and beach gear to experience the lake. Enjoy our firepit, front and back decks, and private enclosed backyard. Parking provided conveniently out front. From our location you can walk anywhere and save the parking fees. Our cozy cabin is equipped with all the necessities you need for a wonderful stay at the lake!

The Getaway

This cabin is titled The Getaway as it can serve as a place where you can truly escape a busy life to truly take a break. Only 1/2 a block from the beach and about one kilometer from the busiest hub of Lakeshore Drive, you can park your car in the driveway, and explore on foot. Stay busy with board and lawn games, books, a fire pit, and a hot tub and enjoying the beautiful garden are just a few things to do without leaving The Getaway. The historic Rosebud Cafe

Natural beauty surrounds this historic getaway. The sunrises from here are unrivalled along with stunning expansive views. The building has evolved from a teacherage to a grain bin to a Cafe & now the tiny guesthouse you see. Rustic in nature with separate outdoor composting toilet (see pics for throne room interior!) & outdoor shower (summer only). Numerous walking trails on the 160acres double for XC skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Property is shared with a cabin, campsites and a treehouse.
