The cottage retains many original features but has lovingly been brought into the 21st century with its warm and inviting decor. Situated on a pedestrianised cobbled street, the cottage is a stones throw away from the the beach, harbour, river and High St and a mere 30 second walk to pubs, cafes and art galleries. Set within the North York Moors National Park, Staithes is an unspoilt fishing village. Smugglers Den is a beautiful three bedroom detached period house with spectacular sea views and yards from the beach and pub. There is a terrace at the front with table/chairs/BBQ as well as a garden with views out to sea. The accommodation is set over three floors with lounge/diner and kitchen on ground floor. Bedroom and bathroom to the second floor and two further bedrooms and loo on the top floor.

Woodland Lodge is a single-storey, detached lodge set at the bottom of a steep hill in a quiet part of the village of Staithes, in the North York Moors National Park. With a small enclosed courtyard and an open-plan living space as well as private parking, Woodland Lodge is the perfect base in which to relax after a day of exploring this fantastic coastal area. Staithes Beck runs alongside the site with its own waterfall and wildlife. It also offers bicycle storage, and an outside tap.

Two minutes walk from the famous Cod & Lobster pub and eatery. Sleeps 2 The cottage used to be the communal bakery where the womenfolk would bring their dough to be baked You will find yourself immersed in the history of this quaint old village once home to Captain James Cook, artist Dame Laura Knight, and countless smugglers.
