Situated at the start of the Wasdale and Eskdale we are perfect for anyone wishing to climb Scafell or just enjoy the two stunning valleys. Brave drivers and cyclists may wish to tackle Hardnott pass at the top end of Eskdale. Ravensglass village and beaches a short walk away, also set on the Fell above the cottage is the amazing Muncaster Castle and Owl centre. Children and Pet friendly 🐾👍🏼

Harter Cottage- Beautiful Lake District views

Parkgate Farm Holidays is a peaceful farmstead site with a few sheep and friendly donkeys at the foot of the Eskdale and Wasdale valleys in Cumbria's Western Lakeland. You've got easy access to the fells directly from the property, and there are also several good west-coast beaches within ten minutes' drive. There's a heritage steam railway line that runs near the farm, and there are several popular visitor attractions within easy reach such as Muncaster Castle, Beacon Museum and The Rum Story.

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . It is very close to Scafell Pike- the highest peak in England, Wastwater lake- the deepest in England and the coast is a 10 minute drive. The house has breath taking views over the fells and is well equipped with all you will need including a log burner, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Free wifi included. Pets are very welcome and there is a private fully secure garden. Extra Charge of £30 per stay.

The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
