Enjoy a tempting mix of takeaways nearby including luxury pizzas, Thai, curries, and top-notch fish and chips. The south-facing enclosed garden is ideal for unwinding with a drink in the sunshine. Scenic riverside and countryside walks start right from the doorstep. A key box at the front door means you can arrive whenever suits you. We’d love to host you!

Self-contained and private with a separate entrance to the room and access to our lovely garden. Right in the middle of the village next to pubs and restaurants, great location, with a train station that can get you to Preston or Liverpool (via Ormskirk) Amenities: fridge, kettle, toaster, breakfast bar and stools, wardrobe, towels for two, TV with Netflix, iPlayer etc.

The Retreat Wrightington- 5 minutes from j27 M6

The Retreat is set in the heart of the Wrightington countryside. It is easy to get to, just a few minutes drive from J27 of the M6. Built on a working family run farm it offers stunning views from the living area that is based on the second floor. There are plenty of beautiful local walks in the area and places to eat and shop. Anyone wanting to visit the coast both Blackpool and Southport are within a 30 minute drive and cities like Preston, Manchester and Liverpool are also close by.

Tranquil getaway with steam trains and deer

Wake to birdsong and deer grazing in nearby fields. Sip your morning coffee with views of Holcombe Hill, then wander straight from the door onto scenic countryside trails, a dog walkers paradise. Watch steam trains chug through the village on the heritage East Lancashire Railway - a nostalgic treat for all ages. After browsing Ramsbottom’s quirky shops, wine bars, pubs, and cafés, head back to your cosy cottage, pour a glass of wine, and relax into Lancashire’s peaceful, timeless charm

The Annex - relax in quiet, charming setting.

The annex, detached from the main house, is set within a beautiful landscaped garden. The spacious bedroom has a double bed and a Smart TV (you will have access to Sky, Netflix, Apple+, Paramount) the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The separate living area has a dining table, sofa and small fridge. Tea and coffee making facilities, cutlery and crockery (for takeaways etc.) are provided. Parking is at the front or side of the house. There is access to strong WiFI . Pets are welcome.

Ivy House Guest Accommodation

Private self contained apartment within the grounds of Ivy Guest House. Suitable for individuals, couples and small families. The refurbished apartment is fully furnished with everything you may need for a relaxing stay. A generous sized lounge, fully fitted kitchen, king size/twin bedroom with remodelled en-suite bathroom, and a private courtyard garden area with patio. The apartment benefits from a shared car park with two spaces and is easily accessed from the main road.

Set in a beautiful countryside location but within easy reach of the M6, M61 and M65. Local villages include Croston and Eccleston, perfect location to enjoy boutique shops and excellent home made food in the local pubs and restaurants. We politely request no additional visitors, just those staying. Strictly no smoking
