It used to be an old hop pickers mobile home but has been lovingly restored to a modern, well presented “mini” haven. A fully self-contained cabin with open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, UK king size bed in bedroom and a shower room and toilet. Ideal for a couple or two singles as a Z-bed can be provided. Bewl Water, Bedgebury Pinetum, Battle Abbey, and Bodiam Castle all only 10 mins by car. We have an abundance of National Trust properties within easy reach, with the pretty towns of Rye and Hastings only 30 mins away. We are dog friendly and have wonderful walks close by. Great for couples or single occupancy, room for a cot too.

The cottage benefits from a private south facing garden and patio. It is ideally situated to explore the many National Trust properties close by.

Bewl Water, Bedgebury and Scotney Castle are within easy driving distance and an evening can be finished at one of the excellent nearby village pubs.

The Grange - Lower Barn Farm, Bodiam, East Sussex

The Grange at Lower Barn Farm is a quirky, rustic, converted detached barn designed with a touch of industrial components which makes for an ideal rural getaway. 70 acres of rolling country side and wooded grounds on the Kent and Sussex borders, complete with idyllic fishing lakes, are just waiting to be explored. There are woodland walks, an abundance of wildlife to be discovered and even the 14th century Bodiam castle, a 5 minute ride away, if you’re lucky you might even spot a kingfisher.

Situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on a sheep farm of 23 acres (which you are free to roam), this is a real get-away-from-it-all location. One of the most peaceful and relaxing places you will ever stay. With underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove you will be cosy whatever the weather.

Old Smock Windmill in rural Kent

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Guests have said how hard it is to tear themselves away, it truly is a treasure to find.

Adorable Hideaway: log stove, campfire, organic fm

The Adorable Hideaway is situated in the generally quiet farmyard of a thirty acre organic smallholding, a mile from Bodiam Castle. People said I would never find a place like this in South East England and I’d have to go at least to Devon, but here we are, at the farm that forgot the time. To come and go, you don’t have to go past my home or into my garden, I think people find the hideaway quite adequately private. It's a bit busier these days..
