Información sobre este anuncio

KaliKala is my sweet little home. I live here with my cat, Shifu.

There are 3 private bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms here. Along with a shared kitchen, a simple living room & front yard seating area. Free Wifi is available throughout the property. No TV though, since I'm not the fan of it..

Scooter can be park inside the fence. But for car, it has to be park on the side of the street right in front of the house.

You can check Kalikala's location in online & offline maps.

Delima's home is perfecto situated. It is tucked away in quiet and peaceful neighborhood and a three minute walk from the main road. She provides a very homey feel, which is a blessing when you've been on the road for weeks. In the mornings, she provides fresh juices and delicious local breakfasts. I definitely recommend a stay at kalikala to anyone travelling to and through Jogja. It's a 30minute drive from the airport (without the infamous indonesian traffic, which we fortunately avoided on our way to the airport). Also, she has a friendly and adorable cat, which is a little bonus.

Delima was an amazing host- very kind and generous with her time. She was a great communicator and helped us with whatever we needed. Her place was beautiful- exactly as described. Thanks so much. We hope to come back soon!

Delima's place is in a really quiet and friendly neighborhood--it's a really nice vibe, much quieter than many other places I've lived in Yogya. The front of her place has a cute sitting area and the room was clean and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed having a variety of different breakfasts and cold water on hand all the time. Delima is a low-key and nice host. The house is artsy and fun...we enjoyed our stay. It's also really central to lots of things I like to do in the southern part of the city.

I really enjoyed staying at Kalikala. Everything was well prepared. The detail notes around the house made us felt really welcomed. A very comfortable place to stay, I must say. The most important: free coffee anytime!

Kali in Indonesian means time after time, it can also means river. And Kala means period of time.
While Kali in Hinduism is a Goddess of time. In Tibetan Buddhism Her counterpart is male with the name Kala.

For me, KaliKala means appreciation of each moment with everything and everyone that come and go in our life. Be kind, respectful & adventurous! :)

The story so far :

I (Delima) born in Pekanbaru, lived several years in Batam, then Padang, and then grew up in Jakarta. So after i finished my study in Bandung & worked at some multinational companies in Jakarta, i decided to start another adventure and came to Yogyakarta in 2013. Currently, i am an apprentice at one of leather bag artisan in Yogyakarta and have started to design & sell my own bags.
