Morning coffee overlooking an amazing sub-tropical garden overlooking a pristine harbor - a great retreat from holiday madness! Carla was very accommodating to our late arrival and offers a real artists retreat style bnb where you can wait for inspiration while snoozing , all French doors wide open to the sound of native song birds and rustling Nikau palms :) Lovely breakfast.

Absolutely fantastic location and views, but you have to park on the street and walk up some steps. There was 4 of us in the downstairs room which was a bit cosy but workable. Lovely continental breakfast was provided with delicious homemade bread. Try the garlic peanut butter! When we were there it was raining so there were a lot of mosquitoes. There were no washing up facilities, but Carla did offer her dishwasher and was overall very helpful. Be warned the local bar and grill closes at 6 most nights. We went to the Indian in Kaeo which was great.

The view and the garden are amazing. The house is really nice and clean and the food at disposal into the room is noteworthy, especially the home-made bread and the jam. The only one fault: the breakfast is not replaced if consumed, but maybe it was our fault to think it would be from the announcement's title. Carla is a nice host but she was not so available and communicative as we thought, but maybe we have been unlucky. Absolutely recommendable

I'm an energetic self motivating person.I love being at home and working in my garden.I'm a gardener by trade.I love anything to do with water and hence i live by the sea.I also love the bush and going for walks through our lovely native house backs onto thousands of acres of forest.I'm very self sufficient, try to grow my own food and grind organic wheat grown in NZ to make flour for bread etc.i love to have visitors and meet new people, and will make you feel at home.
