I, my mother, and my two sons had a five night stay at Manuela's apartment. It was beautiful with lovely views, and is kept very nicely, with lots of personal items and touches which made it feel very much like being at home. Perhaps it was the time of year (mid August) but we found the street very noisy, lots of music paying loudly until 3am and lots of traffic for what seems to be a small street. Due to the heat, we had to sleep with the windows open. This is however, no reflection on the apartment which we liked very much. It s a pretty place and the train station which services Olhao and Faro, is only a ten minute walk away.
Very good location, near beach, harbour, restaurants, train station. We were glad that another reviewer had left word about the location of the apartment so offering here a few practical things it might be helpful for other guests to know. Fuseta A station is the nearer of the town's two train stations. Out of the apartment, turn right, at the end follow that road around to the right, then take a left turn before a large primary school. The big supermarket is on the edge of town but there is a smaller one nearby, go left out of the apartment, up Rue da Liberdade, turn right into a square with cafes and bars, the supermarket is beyond the pharmacy and ATM lobby. You won't find taxis on a rank or on the street, we asked in the bar downstairs and a customer gave us a number, Chico, +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). I'd agree with some other reviewers that it would be helpful to have someone on the ground who spoke English. Fuseta is a nice spot, and Olhao and Tavira worth a visit too.
