This is a beautiful home that we purchased as a retirement property for 2017 but in the mean time we would like to share its warmth and elegance with others. Now rental includes access to 5 person paddle boat and canoe as well as onsite BBQ. See the pictures here and see video by searching 5 South Island Trail on youtube.

Main floor has 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds. The master bedroom has its own full en-suite with shower. Main floor bathroom has full tub. Also has 2 sitting areas with TV/Netflix/Internet as well as a beautiful open concept kitchen with breathtaking views of the water. Dining are with full table and 6 seats also on main floor. Main floor also boasts a propane powered fireplace. Lower level is a great party area with bar size pool table and has 2 great bedrooms for kids with 1 room having 2 single beds and the other room having 1 more single bed. Lower level also has a wood burning fireplace with sitting area and a full bathroom with shower. For the full experience search youtube for 5 South Island Trail on youtube. There are two videos- one from January 2016 showing the unit renovated and as you will see it when you visit. The second video is labelled summer time and shows the outside in the summer to you can know what to expect in terms of the beauty of Lagoon City. I would also suggest you Lagoon City to find out about the area and see other videos/pictures online as this is truly a unique area for Canada.

Full house including a very spacious backyard that falls on the beautiful Lagoons of Lagoon City, Ontario. There are a total of 5 sliding door access points to the backyard including 2 downstairs and 1 in each the master bedroom, living room and kitchen.

I am only a phone call away and have local representation if something should be required.

Before booking this place I would recommend you do a search and read up on Lagoon City- the Venice of Ontario to fully appreciate its beauty.

Lagoon City is 25 KM from Orillia and has a series of over 15 KM of waterway canals that exit onto Lake Simcoe.

Our backyard falls on the water so water safety and local rules/regulations are to be followed at all times. We have a boat port on our backyards and the city has its own Marina if you wish to do boating activities in the summer or snow activities in the winter. Have a great time at our place but be minful to be respectful of those around this picturesque part of Ontario.

Please respect those around you- this is truly a one of kind area and everybody deserves to enjoy it. I will give you this house in beautiful shape and expect you to treat it as such so future guests can also get the full Lagoon City experience. I have included a full copy of the rules posted at the house below so there are no surprises. ThanksHOUSE RULES - PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND

1.Whilst we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels in the hamper. You do not need to wash the towels or linen as that will be done by our cleaning staff but please don’t leave them lying around the house. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
2.There is a maximum 12 guest limit for a reason. That is how many people we have planned for and can accommodate properly if this is changing you need to let me know.
3.There are kitchen size and large black garbage bags located under the sink in the kitchen. Please use these throughout your stay. There are animals in Lagoon City so please don’t leave garbage or recycling outside during your stay. When you checkout please put all garbage bags in the garage. The garage can be opened by the button to the right of the front door- when you are facing the door.
4.There are absolutely no pets allowed. This house is used by people with allergies and if it is found you violated this rule you will be charged for a pet deodorization of entire house- this is not cheap so please make arrangements for your pets before arriving.
5.Being a family home, we also have a no smoking policy. Although you are welcome to smoke in either out front or back, please dispose of your cigarettes/cigars in a container.
6.To ensure we keep the floorboards squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a no shoes policy inside our home. Please carry shoes or leave them at entrances you will be using the most. This also applies to outdoor flip flops/slippers.
7.We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
8.To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the heating when it’s not in use or leaving the house. Mother Nature thanks you to.
9.The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to please place things like sanity napkins in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the bathroom. We simply want to ensure you have a royal flush kind of holiday :)
10.Be respectful of your surroundings when on and off the property in Lagoon City. After 11:00 PM and before 7:00 AM we should not be outside yelling/screaming or blasting music so the neighbourhood can enjoy your party. You don’t have to be sleeping or at library levels but just please be considerate during these times. Enjoy your stay while here and know that I am only a phone call away. I also have local representation next door as my neighbour helps me keep an eye on my place. I want your group to have the time of your life, I just ask that you do it respectfully. Lagoon City is an awesome place and we want it to stay that way.
