Matthew's place was perfect - great location (two blocks away from a great coffee shop, short walk to downtown). The beds were very comfortable with great linens and nice pillows. The apartment was well equipped and nicely decorated - we were provided with everything we needed to make meals at home and feel really comfortable and welcome. Would definitely stay again!

This is a close in neighborhood--about .6 mi to Barrington. It was about .6 to a huge grocery store/pharmacy. We never drove the car after we got there. (parking is behind the building and free). The rooms were large, and we got a really nice breeze. Although it's on the 3rd floor, the three of us, all in our mid-to-late 60's, had no trouble with the stairs. Neighbors were quiet. Good list of pubs and restaurants in notebook, as well as a list of things to do in Halifax. We will rent it again if we return to Halifax.

Matthew was fantastic, he contacted me prior to departure. He provided me with information on what to expect upon my arrival, what the average cost of a cab would be from the airport to the apartment btw he was correct. Mathew also check in on us when we arrived to see if we needed anything. The apartment was so welcoming and comfortable.

I stayed with wife and kids at the "At doorstep to University". It is a huge 4th floor appartment with windows on all 4 sides including a bay window at the front. There is a private porch at the rear. It is really right in front of the University in the posh south end. Newly renovated and furnished in tasteful manner. Even better than some of the pictures show as of summer 2016. This is like a hotel suite with many amenities. Flat screen tv with high end cablebox, DVD player, 110Mb/s Wifi - absolute pipeline, all beds felt new, many fresh new pillows, master bed with pillow top better than at most high end hotels, washer, dryer, dishwasher, dedicated parking. Close to downtown. In the summer A/C would have been welcomed, if only to close some windows that let a bit of traffic noise in at times. The host is an energetic young man that is business smart and knows how to greet people and insure they are happy with the product. He communicates very well, is eager to please and makes sure we can communicate with him if there is anything missing. I am sure this place and the others he manages will continue to improve as he is very receptive to suggestions on what to do to earn that 5th star.

We arrived smoothly, and Matt called me first while we were driving from the airport. That really made me feel great and welcomed. The place is clean, quite and have enough space for 7 of us including 3 children. Matt came right away from out of the town when we need help because one of my kid locked a room door accidently. Thanks Matt.

We had a great stay for our week in Halifax. The condo is walking distance to everything, very clean, spacious and well decorated. Beds were comfy and we had all amenities we needed. Great stay and fantastic value!
