It is disappointing that the missing duvet has not been located, but we have decided to move on and put the issue behind us. I need to rectify some of the inaccurate information that was given: The 2 downstairs bedrooms (one open plan) are not in the cellar. The White House is a 3 storey beach house with a suite on the top floor, living areas on the middle floor and the 2 bedrooms in question, on the lower level with a separate bathroom and private wine cellar. After a guest checks out, the house manager inspects the house for breakages and/or missing items. If items are found missing or broken, it is the house manager's duty to follow up with the guest via sms or telephone. Should there be no resolve to the matter in question, this would then be followed up by me on email. Yzerfontein has a few restaurants which offer a variety of South African dishes. There is a 'Welcome' manual in the White House which assists guests with all the information they require for good restaurants within 30 minutes of the house. Geelbek, Ikwaatu, Cloof, Groote Post to name a few. We do not recommend guests travel to either Malmesbury or Atlantis for any of the reasons mentioned. As in the past, we will continue to provide our guests with all necessary information regarding their stay to ensure that they have a memorable holiday experience.
