Dungog is a high rainfall area but whenever staying in the country and planning to have a fire it is important to check the local conditions. Go to (URL HIDDEN) to check- we are region '3' on the map. Fosterton is a loop and except in extreme circumstances has always been accessible, but in the event of flooding find out about road closures by going to (URL HIDDEN) and if the bridge is closed you can go the other way on the loop.
Please be aware of the environment by reducing the amount of rubbish created, recycling as much as possible in big bin by the gate with the yellow lid. Garbage is to be bagged and taken away with you and put in the other big bin with the red lid on the corner of Fosterton and Moylan Roads.
Naturally take care of the house, leaving it in a good condition: including taking all foodstuffs with you, looking after the fire-pit (graffiti on it is not okay) & cleaning the Bar-B-Que.

We love travelling, exploring new cultures, meeting new people, learning and making a positive contribution as we go. East Timor, Nepal, France, Bangladesh, Wales, Netherlands are some of our favourite destinations.
Having travelled around Australia for over a year and as lovers of nature, art/creating and transformational growth, we want to provide a place for all those things. When we travel we mix it up: Youth hostels, in people's homes and simple, unusual local accommodation. We speak a little French & a little Dutch (always trying to improve) and when we visit another country try to learn a little of their language while there.
