Close to all the action!! Steps from the Danforth, this lovely bright studio apartment is steps from restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and Greektown. A 3 min walk to bloor-danforth subway line or the Bike Share Toronto (affordable bike rental) makes commuting within the city a breeze.

This basement studio apartment is bright and clean and features a brand new kitchen, washroom and flooring. The space has four windows, which provide a lot of light, and there are tons of pot lights that brighten the space in the evening.

Guest access includes a private washroom with shower, wifi, kitchen, TV (Netflix), sitting area and private entrance. Shared laundry is available for guests that stay 2 weeks or longer.

If requested, the host is happy to provide recommendations and/or tips for getting around the city.

The Danforth, Toronto's Greektown, juggles east-enders' enviro-chic, vegan-friendly sensibilities with the city's biggest celebration of meat on a skewer; otherwise know as the Taste of the Danforth. Carrot Common is the central meeting point here and home to the ever-popular The Big Carrot. But venturing east and west along the main drag yields some great finds like the restored Danforth Music Hall, shopping at Lustre and Bullet and great eats at Globe, 7 Numbers and Athens Pastries.

The apartment is a 3 min walk to the greenwood subway station and is close to many local restaurants, coffee shops, clothing stores, etc.

BnB was close about a 15 minute drive from the center of Toronto, very quiet neighborhood with a private entrance to the basement around back. The only issue we had was parking. You have to park on the street and pay for parking during your stay. Lauren & Julian left detailed directions on how to register your car for parking. You have to register your car on the local website, however, all parking spots were booked during our stay, even on the side street that's noted on the directions. So we had to take a chance and couldn't register our car. Thankfully we didn't get a ticket! Other than that our stay was wonderful and the photos are exactly what the BnB looks like!

The place was just like in the photos. Julian and Lauren were very responsive and quick in replies. Accommodating as well. Really liked the food magazines, travel brochures and guides they've placed. It's a basement so will pick up footsteps and sounds from above, train sounds can be tuned out if you're not too sensitive to noise or use earplugs.

We had a very good time in Lauren & Julian's studio. It is located very close to the Greenwood subway station. The appartment itself was clean and modern. We defenetly can recommend this studio to singles or couples. We would book it again.

Great stay!! The only thing was the subway noise and voices upstairs carried to the basement. Other than that amazing place!

I was a bit fearful after reading the previous reviews, but the subway going by did not bother me or my boyfriend at all. It wasn't very loud at all- it was more like a constant white noise. Don't be discouraged by that! Lauren and Julian's listing makes for a comfortable and marvellous stay. The bed is extremely comfortable (and this is being said by a person with back issues!). The flat looks just like it does online in the photos- beautiful! The kitchen is supplied with cooking ware so you can make your own food. If you're trying to travel on a budget, then I highly suggest going to Foodland and preparing your own meals. The place is located in one of the best parts of Toronto- Greektown! There are so many fabulous restaurants and bakeries within walking distances (~20 mins). You can see so many Greek and Middle Eastern places, such as a stunning mosque. An LCBO (liquor and beer store) is conveniently nearby. Also, Greektown has some traffic but it's not as bad as the rest of Toronto, such as the main road, Bloor. There's a thruway entrance (Don Valley Parkway) nearby, which allows you to get on and off the QEW without hitting major traffic on Bloor. You can also use this entrance to get around the city. The parking is a bit of a hassle and mess in Toronto. The first two nights we parked ~20 mins away on Selkirk, but on our final night we parked like ~7 mins away on Strathmore, in between Donlands and Dewherst. It's a shame that you can't park closer, but exercise is good for you, even during a "blizzard." *Make sure you read the parking permit directions carefully, especially regarding what zone you can park in* We never met Lauren and Julian, but they were extremely kind and helpful over Airbnb message. They helped me buy a parking permit, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend staying with Lauren and Julian in Greektown! :)

Great location! The room was nice, comfortable and clean, but the sound really travels from the kitchen upstairs.
