Our converted storefront loft with charming garden patio is a haven - steps away from downtown Oakland and Lake Merritt. Hop on BART in a few blocks and reach San Francisco in 35 minutes, or hang out in Oakland's hot spots steps away! Smoke Free.
This one bedroom apartment is a modern home in a classic Oakland Victorian. Previously an architecture firm, the storefront-style ground floor loft features heated concrete floors, exposed steel beams, and an open floor plan. White kitchen with gas stove, tiled bath with oversized walk-in shower. The home is ADA accessible. One of our favorite features is the beautiful private front garden patio. We don't have air conditioning (most homes in the Bay area do not, due to our temperate weather!) but we do have fans and the house is generally nice and cool. There is a full sized bed (separated from the living space with an open book case) and a pull out sofa in the living room. This is a smoke-free and pet-free space. This is our home and we want you to feel the same. You may see our clothes and toiletries but we will leave ample space for your personal belongings.
Servicios y zonas comunes
We will meet you, give you keys, and show you around! Please feel free to use the whole apartment - we ask that you respect our wonderful neighbors as this is a multi-home building. The entrance is on the ground floor and leads directly in to the home. The ADA entrance is through a ramp that goes in to the front garden.

Hello! I travel both for work and enjoyment. I recently returned from a number of months in S.E. Asia & have used AirBnB as a traveler. I like having opportunities to meet and carouse with locals in all the places I travel so figured why not share in the authentic experience of living as a local instead of Hoteling or Hostels.
My home in Philadelphia is filled with historic sites, cool people, great restaurants, shows and fantastic beer!
My other home in Oakland is the same!
Always feel free to contact me to talk or find out more.
Of course, I would want to speak to the person who was going to share my personal space before I let them in. It's a win-win for us both!
