We could not have been happier with the air B&B. In town for a family wedding, we were close to all the events. Enjoyed the house and neighborhood. Our kids loved the house too. We hope to come back for another stay!
Paul & Diane' place was great! We came down for a roller derby trip and it gave us plenty of room for everyone; We had six because that's where the listing was capped but I feel like we could have had one or two more if they were willing to sleep on floors or couches. Maybe Pensacola has a limit on how many guests a spot like this can have? Anyway, it doesn't matter which room you're hanging out in, you won't run out of seating. The spot's not directly on the beach, but it's only about 3 minutes to the bridges that ultimately take you over to Santa Rosa Island. The trade-off is that it's a walkable distance (if you're a walking person) or an easy drive to Palafox, the main strip through downtown Pensacola. The kitchen had a rumcake and some snacks that were explicitly offered to us; we snacked on that the whole weekend. They also had plenty of cookware and while we mostly ate out, we did make breakfast for everyone one morning and had all the pots & pans we needed. There's a neat grocery store - kind of like a mini-Whole Foods - about 4 (short) blocks away. We got the stuff to make breakfast there and we also ate breakfast there on the way out.
The hostesses were very welcoming and nice. What a lovely welcoming we had with fruits, snacks and information around the neighborhood. We were very comfortable staying here. Thank you for letting us stay. We had a great time in Pensacola. :)
When we arrived Paul and Diane were waiting for us in their house and Diane had baked a delicious rum cake for us. It was a very warm welcomed, they showed us all the house and amenities. This is a beautiful house from 1903 very well maintained. Also Paul and Diane have in their house all that you could need for your trip. My family and I had a great time in this house and made our vacations at Pensacola better. The communication with Paul and Diane was very easy and they were always ready to help. Thank you Paul and Diane! your are great hosts!
Paul and Diane are fantastic hosts. The apartment was wonderful and had everything you could ever need. Their warm hospitality, stocked fridge, rum cake and fruit and cheese trays were such a pleasant bonus and came in very handy during our stay. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Pensacola area.
The house was beautiful and spacious and we had a great time there. Paul and Diane were wonderful hosts and provided us with everything we needed and more! They were very helpful and checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure that everything was going well. I will definitely be staying here again if I ever return to Pensacola!
