A cozy, modern 2 bedroom apt w/ real comfortable beds, plenty of windows, hardwood floors, and high ceilings located in the heart and old/hippie part of Manhattan, in Lower East Side and Chinatown, by LOLITA & SoHo (6-10 mins walk away). Mins to subways, restaurants, museums & bars! High-Speed Internet! Comfortable brand name beds!
My renovated and cozy apartment is located in the heart and old/hippie part of Manhattan in Lower East Side and Chinatown, a few minutes walk to NOLITA, and SOHO, a few subway stops to Wall Street and 911 memorial area, and also to midtown, where Macy's, Time Square, and central park are located!
This downtown area has a countless number of trendy and hip restaurants, galleries, cafes, coffee shops, and bars. It is a popular area for young professionals and hipsters. It is also close to everything. The neighborhood is old but hip, full of cultures and diversity, and safe but not the cleanest though.
*Two bedroom apartment:
--Room 1 has a standard Sealy Queen sized bed. An additional foldable Simmons single sized bed is available upon request ONLY.
--Room 2 has a standard Simmons World Class Luxury Full sized bed. An additional foldable luxury twin sized bed is available upon request ONLY.
--The two rooms are quite spacious in Manhattan standard; but, they will feel somewhat crowded if an additional bed is set up. See picture.
--Simple, clean, cozy, and modern: perfect for you to rest and relax after a day of sightseeing or work!
--The apt had a gut renovation about a year ago located in an old tenement building (no elevator), 3 sets of stairs, on the 4th floor featuring hardwood floors and high ceilings.
--Only a dining area is available, no living room. What you see in pictures is what you get. The landlord is creative in using space in Manhattan!
--Sunny, and airy: full of windows facing South, East, and the back of the building.
--Noise level is very low in Manhattan standard.
--Raw/Plain roof has a beautiful view of Manhattan!
--The front of the building and stairwells are old and worn out. It is in a hippie neighborhood; you will see graffiti. But, don't worry, the neighborhood and building are very safe. Families w/ children, young professionals, and hippies are living in the building. In addition, the super likes to keep the front door open during the day. At night, it is locked generally.
--The building's common areas (e.g. stairway, and garbage area) weren't renovated. In fact, it appears to be old and dirty after all it is a 100 years old building! However, the live-in super cleans the common space at least once a week. The apartment itself is cleaned and well-kept.
Note: Two standard beds (full, and queen sized) will be prepared. If more beds are needed, please inform me in ADVANCE. The room can be a little crowded if an additional bed is set up. But, it is totally doable in city standard. See pictures.
