Camper was just perfect for what was needed while staying here. It's not the four seasons, but simple basic needs were provided and stocked as needed. Also, close enough to town to do the touristy activities or make a quick supply run. Julie was more than accommodating and gave plenty of privacy but was just a text or call away if needed. Definitely would recommend this place if you need to unplug and/or enjoy some beautiful serenity. I will stay here again.

Excellent host, very accommodating. However there is not necessarily wifi access and the pull out couch is unavailable contrary to the listing

My first clue about Julie arrived about a week before my visit. It was a message from Julie that said, “we are no longer allowing suitcases with wheels. Only bring a duffle bag.” What? Apparently she hasn’t been to an airport for 20 years, or tried to move luggage around. The next problem was her failure to accurately describe the location. The “street” where the trailer is located is just a dirt driveway. There are large “No Trespassing” signs all along the driveway and only a tiny sign with the street name, nailed to the side of a tree, impossible to see after dark. She didn’t mention this, and she didn’t answer or return my call when I called to get help finding the place. I specifically asked her to leave lights on when I knew my delayed flight was going to cause me to arrive after dark and she did not leave lights on. These clues were nothing compared to the really big problems that started after I arrived. Julie has a “welcome letter” sitting on the table with 3 purposes: it briefly describes how to use the trailer which is helpful, it is a list of rules that must be followed, Julie demands that guests sign the letter, but doesn’t say why it must be signed. Frankly, while I appreciate that she explained how to use the idiosyncrasies of the trailer, I don’t feel comfortable signing documents without knowing why I’m signing. For example, if something is broken inside the trailer, am I taking responsibility? What if it was broken before I arrived? What if she finds the broken thing in four hours, four week, or four months? The first night I arrived at the trailer, the weather was very cold and hailing. Inside the trailer is an air mattress, with sheets and a blanket that is as thin as a sheet of paper. There is a broken heater that blows outside air inside. I asked Julie for a warmer blanket. She acted truly offended that I had the nerve to ask for a warmer blanket. Her responses were: 1) you should expect to be cold because we are at 7000 feet, 2) there were people from Texas here last week and they weren’t cold, and 3) youre just not a good fit to stay here, go find another place to stay. At this point I decided to just avoid her which seemed like it would be easy. However, the next day when I returned to the trailer, she had gone into the trailer, gone through my possessions, moved things around, and left the letter right next to the door with a note that she would be back tomorrow to pick it up. This intrusion felt very violating. This stranger went through my possessions! I have stayed at many Airbnb’s, host 3, and manage a friend’s rental boat. I know that being a good host requires basic customer service skills. Julie has no customer service skills and is...

Respuesta de Julie:
To all future guests: Please read all other reviews. They are quite the opposite of this woman's interpretation. Note: We DO have heat. We ARE located on Columbine St. There are NOT "no trespassing" signs on our road. We do NOT demand signing the instruction sheet. We would never touch anyone's personal belongings.

Unfortunately I was unable to make it to the camper as I ended up catching a cab with some friends to their hotel room. Julie was an excellent communicator and was very accommodating through the entire process.

Julie and David were amazing hosts! We could not have asked for a better experience as first time Airbnb users. The camper was exactly what we were expecting. Julie made herself available to us from the very beginning. She was extremely helpful with any questions we had and offered great advice on local things to see and do while we were there. They made our honeymoon all the more enjoyable with their generosity and honest interest in making our stay with as comfortable as possible.
