I work part time, sometimes at home so I am around to answer questions. I have lived in Bellingham for over 20 years and I am active in the community. I am involved in many theater, educational and outdoor activities, especially hiking and sailing, and have updated information on what Bellingham has to offer.
Otros aspectos destacables
I am fairly quiet, and appreciate others to be quiet also.
I just refinished the hardwood floors so I would prefer that people not wear their shoes, I have some slippers and shoe covers to borrow. No smoking.

Although I've lived in Bellingham for 22 years, I'm still awed by the breathtaking views of Mount Baker, the Canadian Cascades and Bellingham Bay with its outlying islands. I'm actively involved with the arts in Bellingham, volunteering with Mount Baker Theatre and the independent movie theater, the Pickford. I have my own radio show interviewing women in the community and I record Art Talk for a local station. I recently completed the Master Gardener class, so I'm also busy volunteering with different garden projects and reexamining my own garden. This year Bellingham has been blessed with equal parts sun and rain so the weeds are outgrowing the plants so there is plenty to do.
I work as a caregiver so I often work weekends. I love to read and one of my favorite evenings is spent reading in front of my woodstove. I just finished The Boys in the Boat, which was an inspiring account of a UW rowing team winning the 1936 Olympics. It was a particularly inspiring because I know the kinds of people who were on the rowing team - loggers, fisherman and farmers.
Bellingham is blessed with a wonderful climate for farming and has a great berries, strawberries in June, blueberries and raspberries in July. And a Farmer's Market to buy all the fresh produce, and even local meat.
