I am a designer and landscape gardener, food (oysters!) and art lover (Andy Goldsworthy), read voraciously and travel when I can.
I embrace all kinds of people - all ages, races, faiths and orientations are welcome at my place. I speak a bit of French and Greek and stumble thru Spanish.
My property is a work in progress. The gardens now reward me with fruit, herbs, nuts, and flowers, and the buildings become more inviting as I improve them day-by-day.
The guesthouse was a shell when I bought my place, and the old barn it faces became my inspiration for its design. I trimmed the windows, and built walls with barn wood, used silver accents to mimic the barn roof, installed copper water pipes that extend into handmade fixtures, and installed a bathtub and sinks I found in the barn.
I have provided guests with a manual for when I'm not around. When I am around I will be at your service.
