Enjoy cave exploring, hiking, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and even shopping when you stay at Paradise Cove! Stay in this cozy 2 BR/ 1 BA villa nestled on three-quarters of an acre of land right on the beach with its own pool and gazebo!

Rental Rules:

Left Property:
Please check every drawer, cupboard, and living space area carefully before departure to ensure you have all your belongings. Don't forget to look under the bed. We are not responsible for any items left in or around the property. Valuable items left behind by the client will be held for the client and every reasonable effort will be made to contact the client for return. If items are not claimed for longer than 1 month they shall become the property of the host. The host shall not be held liable for the condition of said items.

Failure of Essential/Non-Essential Appliances and Facility Elements:
Please let us know immediately if there is any equipment that is not operating correctly. We will make every reasonable effort to have repairs made as soon as possible; however, there are limited service contractors in our areas, particularly on evenings or weekends. If a breakdown should occur to fundamental elements such as water systems, plumbing and electrical systems, and major appliances such as stove or refrigerator, every effort will be made to repair or replace, or an appropriate refund will be made for the inconvenience caused. No reduction of rent, rebate, or refund will be issued for a mechanical failure of non-essential appliances including but not limited to washer, dryer and entertainment systems.

We offer Wi-Fi; however, its effectiveness and efficiency is dependent upon the main area Internet Service Provider and we, the Owners, cannot be made responsible for internet outages or faulty/slow service during the Renter's stay.

Guests of Guests:
Unless coordinated prior to booking, no guests of guests are allowed to stay overnight on the property. This includes setting up tents or camping on the property. If the renter is intending to have a gathering (party) that will increase the amount of non-overnight guests on the property, he/she must obtain prior authorization from the Owners before the reservation is made. A $25 fee will be assessed to the reservation for each additional over-night guest over the allowed amount of four (4).

Occupancy of the property is restricted to those names listed on the Agreement or added subsequently by The Renter. The Rental Applicant is considered to be the Lead Renter and will assume full responsibility for all members of the Rental Group throughout the rental period. Information or instructions relating to this rental will be communicated to the Rental Applicant only and not to any third-party member of the Rental Group.

Pool Use:
By making an official reservation of this property, Guests acknowledge and agree to the following:
-THERE IS NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY. As such, Guest is responsible for Guest's safety and the safety of any guests of Guest. Guest acknowledges that children or handicapped individuals should not be left unattended near or around the pool. Guest acknowledges the inherent risk in swimming or playing around a pool area. Guest hereby assumes all responsibility for Guest's safe use of the pool and pool area. The Guest accepts fully all the risks involved.

Renter Risks/Owner Responsibilities:
The Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses or death caused, to person or property of The Renter, his/her family, or guests, before during or after the time of occupancy that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. The Renter represents, warrants, acknowledges and agrees with The Owner that he/she will use the Property and its facilities in accordance with The Terms and Conditions above and the Information provided and that he/she does so at his/her own risk and that he/she indemnifies and saves. The use of control substances and / or drugs are not permitted on the property.

Check Out & Damages Charges:
Below is a departure checklist and we ask that you follow it and leave the property in a neat and tidy condition. We don't ask our housekeeper to wash dishes, move large items of furniture around or clean up after pets, so we request that you wash, dry, and put up all dishes used and return all furniture to its original location. The booking cleaning fee does not include the yard, pool, and property/ sand dune area trash. We don't like to make claims on damages but if our cleaning staff has to spend additional time above and beyond their allocated hours to make the property ready for the next guests, we will charge for the additional time by deducting the fee from the Renter’s security deposit. Please note that any minor damages and extra costs induced by neglect that occurs on the property during your stay will be deducted from the security deposit. This includes missing linens, towels, kitchen utensils/materials, etc. We don't expect you to fix any pre-existing plumbing issues, but if you use brute force and break a door knob or a faucet then we have no choice but to claim reasonable amount against the damage charges.
Check-out Checklist:
• Remove and discard any opened food items from the refrigerator and/or microwave. Please check that the coffee maker and toaster-oven are cleaned of any left-overs.
• Conduct a quick "sweep" of the outdoor areas you used and collect any trash. Take out all trash--indoor and outdoor -- to the dumpster located right outside the entry gate. If you had brought in one of the trash cans onto the property, please make sure that it is returned to the outside dumpster area in front of the entry gate before departure. Please ensure that trash bags are elevated.
• Hose off all excess dirt and sand from gazebo floor, pool area, and all outdoor finished areas.
• Make sure all external water faucets have been shut tight (hoses).
• Make sure all outdoor furniture (chairs, pool furniture) are placed in their original position.
• If you uncovered any of the pool furniture, please re-cover them.
• If you used the grill, please scrub it clean.
• If you had access to the laundry room, please make sure it is locked.
• If you used a blow-up mattress, please deflate, pack up, and stow away in the lower kitchen cabinets.
• Strip the main bedroom bed. Place all used sheets and towels in the bright pink laundry basket located underneath the shelves next to the bathroom door.
• Do a "sweep" around the house to make sure you have not left any valuable items behind. All items left behind will be discarded once the housekeeper services the house immediately upon your departure.
• Turn off all lights, air-conditioning units, and other electronics. Check that the stove and oven are off.
• Re-connect the outdoor security cameras (Night Owl HD) if you disconnected them.
• Leave at least 4 windows fully OPEN.
• Upon departure, lock the front door. To do this, simply press the "lock" icon (padlock) on the keypad once the door is shut.
• Make sure all gates have been properly locked.
• Any need to deviate from this checklist should be coordinated in advance with us. Additional costs may apply.

Smoking:
Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited and punishable by a $250 cleaning fee which will be charged to the guest.

Pets:
Pets may be welcome after pre-coordination with the Owner. If any damage inside the home or on the property (yard) occur due to your pet's stay with you, please expect to pay for any remedies with the Security Deposit. If you are going out for the day and leaving your pet in the home or in the yard, please ensure that the proper care measures are taken.

Pasamos un fin de semana extraordinario! Las facilidades son muy buenas, tranquilas y seguras. Todo está muy limpio y organizado, el área de la piscina es encantador y las playas son del paraíso. Aracelis y Luis son personas responsables y disponibles en todo momento. Quedamos fascinados con este lugar. De seguro, volveremos!

Aracelis' Paradise Cove in Islote, Puerto Rico was an absolutely wonderful discovery for us on AirBnB! Her casita was very comfortable and located in our favorite area along PR's north coast. The beach and the isolated cove are just outside the property's back gate and they offeed a great spot for surf walking, sea glass hunting, and splashing early in the morning and late in the evening. The private pool was so relaxing. Aracelis and her family could not have been more accommodating and friendly. They responded quickly to our questions and requests with a sincere effort to assure that we were comfortable. We truly loved our time at Paradise Cove and highly recommend it to others.

The property is beautiful, well maintained, cute casita and clean. A/C very good, NO internet neither TV, host tried to fix by calling the internet company but at the end told us that the company have problems in the area. We called Liberty and no issues of signal in the area and other wireless network working properly. So be sure to call the host before check in to assure the internet is working properly . The host didn't follow up the issues .

Thanks for the compliments on the cleanliness and beauty of the property. I hope you enjoyed the direct access to the beach, tropical landscape, the pool and the privacy of the property. We are very sorry that the internet was not working during your stay. However, I want to address some of your statements. We called the service provider and they disclosed that the area was under service but we insisted to have them guide you through troubleshooting the problem by phone. When that was unsuccessful, we arranged for a tech to go in person a make sure the equipment was not malfunctioning. During the visit, the tech reiterated that the area was under service and there were no issues with our equipment after testing it. I continued to get updates from the provider and communicated with you as evidence on the messaging board. Unfortunately, the service was not restored until a day after your departure as verified by the housekeeper. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to strive on improving the guest experience and enjoyment of what the area has to offer.

Would highly recommend this beautiful home! Gorgeous beach right in the backyard with a million dollar view all around! Very clean and the pool was a plus. There is a great short hike right out of the back gate to a very cool cove and view of the ocean/city.

This home is wonderful, and is exactly as advertised. A/C and wifi are strong, great cookware, and great beach & cliff views steps from the backyard. I would recommend this home to anyone.
