Stay in our renovated vintage 1978 Airstream Argosy! Camp in style on 10 acres with access to trails, pool and 30ft yurt. Relax and enjoy a unique experience at Dharma Ranch retreat center all within 5 miles of San Marcos.
****** PLEASE READ HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING ******
For a few years during the 1970’s, Airstream created the Argosy trailer which was unlike the Airstream’s usual metallic exterior appearance. Though essentially the same design, the Argosy would often be defined for being painted on the outside. This rare Airstream has been restored, though it still has the integrity of the 1978 trailer. Bamboo flooring, updated bathroom with new toilet, hot plate stove, fridge, pull out dining table, comfy queen sized memory foam bed, A/C & heat, TV (dvd's only) outdoor deck with brand new barbecue grill. A short walk to the modern outdoor but enclosed bathroom to shower.
There is also a very Tiny House that is occasionally occupied about 200 ft. away with a privacy fence in-between both places. Tiny House guests will share the shower building with you during your stay. If you have any questions regarding the set up, please ask!
Coffee, tea and breakfast cereal provided. Please bring food for other meals.
No internet provided though we do get great cell service if you have AT&T or Verizon.

We also have a Tiny House that people stay in via referral and will soon be listed on AirBnB, so you may or may not encounter other guests at the pool or yurt during your stay. Please respect other people's space and privacy.
We are a small retreat center and your stay may fall on a night when we have a meditation class or workshop of some sort in the yurt. There’s activity here at Dharma Ranch, whether its people coming for classes, Tiny House guests or land/retreat maintenance. We do our best to create an environment of calm, quiet and peacefulness while these activities may be happening and encourage our guests to also be mindful of noise.
The Airstream is far away enough where any activity in the yurt shouldn't bother you. Guests are welcome to join us!

Since we are a retreat center, your stay may fall on a night when we have a meditation class or another class of some sort in the yurt. The Airstream and Tiny House are far enough away that any activity shouldn't bother you. Guests are welcome to join us for free.
We also love pets but since we have 2 well behaved, friendly dogs on the premises along with free roaming chickens and two outdoor cats, we do not accept dogs. There is a kennel with great rates 2 miles down the road, email us for info.
Please leave rooms relatively clean and tidy. We don't charge a cleaning fee and would like to keep it that way.
Thanks and see ya soon!
