Quite welcome to join in on conservation work either on trap lines through bush or noxious weed control. Discover what is involved in saving the kiwi. Or just relax.

I have worked at sea most of my life and now pottering around closer to home in the beautiful Coromandel or traveling. The theatres of London are one of my favourite destinations.
At home I am part of a voluntary group helping to boost kiwi numbers in the northern part of the Coromandel Peninsula, (success! more calls at night) and cruising around with my classic Brit (MGB GT).
Reading, history and the arts (although alas I lack any talent in that area) are pastimes, as is spending time with friends over a good meal.
Spoiling nephews given half the chance.
I understand the benefits of holiday makers finding a place that is not the neutral bland hotel destination. When I travel by myself b&b is a good way to interact with locals for a start.
