Hi - I am Joy. I am married to Peter - we met while studying at Edinburgh University. We have 3 sons aged 28,26 and 22. The Grey Cottage has been the Grey family's very happy family home for 20 years. And no! - we didn't change its name - it was called that when we bought it! Before that we lived in lots of different places. As a result we are used to, and love, having people to stay!
I work from home as a garden designer designing gardens in East Lothian, Edinburgh and the Sottish Borders and sometimes further afield. The rest of the family play golf and are members of the local club. I enjoy walking, singing, cooking and of course all things gardening!
Now that the boys are leaving home we want to share the Grey Cottage with others.
It's fun being an Airbnb host - I love meeting people from all over the world, welcoming them to our home and telling them about the wonderful part of the world that we are lucky enough to call 'home'!
