Situated on the historic Marcus Daly ranch that has been in operation since 1886, this cottage is a wonderful slice of history and also a peaceful home for your vacation or work trip. Great location--centrally located to town as well as all outdoor activities--but complete seclusion as the house is surrounded by fields. The house was completely renovated in 2015 and has all the necessary amenities.
This farm cottage was originally a Sears/Montgomery Ward catalog house dating back to the early 1900s, but was completely remodeled in 2015 with the goal of preserving the era's charm. Bright and cheerful, you will find two comfy bedrooms, a relaxing living room, a kitchen with everything you should need, and a sunny dining "nook." A deck on the kitchen side of the house, with Adirondack chairs and a barbeque, as well as a small café table and two chairs, will be the setting for watching sunsets in the summer, and a covered porch on the other side of the house that is in the shade of majestic cottonwood trees will be the place to keep cool on hot summer days. A large lawn area, with a picnic table available, is the perfect setting for an evening barbeque. No neighbors nearby allows for complete seclusion and privacy, while still close to town. There are even two horse corrals available if traveling with equine friends.

I administer this beautiful cottage in the Bitterroot Valley for my two sisters. This home is very special to my two sisters and me as we spent parts of summers in this cottage for many years as children and we all have very fond memories of our times there. Since then the cottage has been completely renovated and updated. We look forward to your stay with us, and my sister, Kristina, who lives in Hamilton will always stop by to introduce herself and make sure that you are comfortable.
