Servicios y zonas comunes
The guest/s (max 2) have a large bedroom and their own private bathroom/toilet (not an ensuite) with great views overlooking the city and parts of the inner harbour. Access is also available to the sun/reading room, the cozy lounge with open fire - downstairs (TV/DVD and stereo also available), laundry (with washing machine) and quiet and peaceful garden courtyard.
The kitchen can be used by guests if required, but with a number of very good restaurants within walking distance, cooking may be the last thing on your mind ! Atención a los huéspedes
I take a lot of pride in my home town and I love to share it with visitors. I have lived here for 25 years and I know the Albany area pretty well.
I am more than happy to point you in the right direction with respect to places to visit, restaurants, wineries etc.
Getting the personal touch in an unfamiliar City, is one of the great advantages of any Airbnb.
I look forward to sharing my home with you.
Otros aspectos destacables
If you are keen on walking, there are some great walking tracks close by to this accommodation. Bush trails through the Mt Clarence National Park take you to the historical Forts precinct and lead to the new Anzac centre with stunning views of the surrounding coastline. So bring your walking gear ! Also bike riding is popular here. I have a fully equipped work shed which can be used for working on your bike if needed.
If you have a mobility issue, you may want to consider the staircase, as it is quite steep (see photo).
Fresh rain water is on tap to drink.
Just to confirm, this is an original style Airbnb, I also live on the premises.
No drunken behaviour
No extra people to be bought back to premises unless agreed to by owner
No stilettos or high heeled shoes to be worn inside the house as they damage the wooden floors.
Please turn off all electrical appliances and lights before you leave your room to go out.
Please no food or drink (apart from water) in the bedroom, accidents have and do happen (spillages on doona and sheets). There are ample areas in the house to eat and drink.
Suitable for two people only - 1 queen bed (baby is OK)
Currently, I am studying music through the Ukulele, having organised Ukulele Retreats and running a Uke group (musically) for about 4 years in Perth. I work in Audio with a studio setup at home.
I have travelled extensively throughout my life (through work and curiosity) and I do enjoy meeting fellow travellers.
I am pretty easy going and I believe, suited to hosting.
I am also a keen walker, recently doing the full Camino in Spain.
