My husband and I were very happy with the location and the space within the unit. However, when we arrived to the address it was unclear which door or unit was ours, and we were not greeted at all. We knocked on the neighbours door who directed us to the unit. The door was left open. When we entered there was a bad smell in the kitchen as the garbage was not emptied. After taking the garbage out there were no replacement garbage bags. The bedding was clean, but the unit was not up to our standards clean wise. We contacted David to ask about garbage bags and dish soap as there was none, he apologized for the cleaning lady missing the garbage and would have her deliver dish soap and garbage bags the following day. They were not delivered the next day. We baught garbage bags, dish soap, and cleaning wipes ourselves. We also had to ask David how to use the door as there is no key, you enter a code. There was no mote left to ensure that we were in the right unit or what our code was for the door, so we were happy we were able to get a hold of David.
The view is really great from the unit however the windows were not clean, I can imagine it would be difficult to keep clean as the ocean is right there.
Overall once we cleaned up a bit and got stocked up on necessities in the kitchen we were able to make ourselves at home.
After traveling around the whole island we were happy we were staying on the north shore as we were close to the Napali coast and really enjoyed Hanalei Bay. The waves on the north side are stronger so we didn't feel it was safe to swim in our "Backyard", but the view is still worth it.
