This small & cozy room on the second floor of our 70's farm house has a water view of the Tisbury Great Pond, a queen size bed, 100% cotton linens, mini fridge, window fan and beach towels for your use. It shares a bath which is located right across the hall. If you are looking for a hotel type room, this is not for you. If you want a reasonably priced, comfortable room in a farmhouse (goats and chickens on property), we'd love to have you stay with us.

Each morning, coffee or tea and home baked muffins are set up in the living room from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. Plenty of outdoor seating areas are available if you'd like to enjoy your coffee in the garden. There are no kitchen privileges but as mentioned above, each room has a mini fridge for your use.

We are located in the rural town of West Tisbury, mid-island. The larger towns, where the majority of restaurants, shops, etc. are located are 8 to 10 miles from our place. Many people prefer mid and up-island for the calm and peacefulness and escape from the traffic and noise of the towns. The bus stop is about 3/4 mile from our door---for convenience a car is recommended although many of our guests just "bike it". You have assess to Lambert's Cove Beach, a beautiful private town beach---we have car & walk-on passes for your use.

Aside from your room, you're welcome to enjoy our unique garden with several seating areas. It's a wonderful spot to watch the sunset or just relax.

We live on premises, so we're there to help you in any way.

We are located in West Tisbury which is mid-island, 8 to 10 miles from the busier down-island towns. We are two miles from Alley's General Store, The Field Gallery, The West Tisbury Library and the Farmer's Market (Wednesday and Saurday).

I always recommend a car as there are so many things to do in all directions on the island. It is very important that you contact the Steamship Authority to book a car reservation. About 20% of our guests either bike it or use the bus system. The nearest bus stop to our place is 3/4 mile walk.

My son runs "Scapegoats Goatscaping" so we often have goats on the lower portion of our 3 acre property. We also have free ranging chickens. You'll see horses next door, rabbits, osprey and swans amongst other birds.

We went to the vineyard to bike, relax, and enjoy the island. Rosemary and Nick are the best hosts, lovely breakfast, beautiful location, the stars at night are breath-taking. Rosemary's garden, apart from being very productive, is beautiful during the day and a night with all the lovely candles. Conversations were engaging and Nick's guitar music is wonderful. Thank you so much for hosting us in your home. We'll be back. MJ

We were welcomed immediately by Rosemary and family and enjoyed our brief stay. The grounds are nice, a bit free spirited and peaceful. We felt right at home, part of the family and were sad our trip was cut short by an approaching storm & the cancellation of ferries for 2 days. We stayed one night instead of 2 due to tropical storm Hermine's approach. Rosemary and her family are super nice, friendly and we were disappointed we couldn't share in the second night's festivities of Rosemary's fresh fish from Menemsha & hors de oeuvres around the fire pit with friends & family. We will keep in touch and hope to visit again in the near future!

So peaceful and welcoming! Rosemarie is incredibly kind and helpful. Her breakfast fruit muffins are the yummiest I've ever tasted and I'd visit again for those alone ;-). The farm is located in the center of the island making it easy to get everywhere. I visited without a car and managed to get around seamlessly. It's a 5-minute walk to the bus stop; MV transit is exceptionally reliable and you can get anywhere you need to go. If you're in a rush, an Uber from Oaks Bluff was a little over $20. Rosemarie is incredibly generous, sharing her private beach pass with me and even giving me lifts around town when we were going in the same direction. I regret not staying longer!

Rosemary's farm house was one of my favorite places to relax. I travel for a career and it was nice to get away from the hotel scene and be one with nature. Rosemary And Nick are very sweet.

They were up to greet us later in the evening and made me feel quite welcome in their home. Very gracious and committed to making the stay comfortable and stress free.

We had a great stay at Rosemary's mostly because of her warm, gracious hospitality, the gorgeous setting and her amazing breakfasts. The landscape reminded us of being in Provence. Rosemary was a wealth of information about hikes and beautiful beaches that we would not have found without her guidance. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know the other guests. Rosemary's place has a homey feel to it that we came to enjoy more with each day. The room is very comfortable and Rosemary makes sure you have enough beach/bath towels. She is a wonderful host!

What a lovely setting and Rosemary and Nick are warm, charming hosts! We go to the Vineyard to get in as much beach time as possible but their property is so relaxing we almost wanted to stay there for a day and hang out on the lounge chairs in the shade of the juniper trees. Next time we will stay longer and do just that. The chickens, goats and nearby horses and cows made us feel like we were part of the storied Vineyard farm culture- a real treat because we are long time visitors to MV and passing by all of the local farms really makes you want to explore the back roads-and we feel like we got to do that with Rosie and Nick. Can't wait to go back!

Bethany---thanks for the great review. We enjoyed having you and Peter here---it's great to see our guests loving the vineyard!!! By the way, I really appreciated your private suggestion regarding the rooster----he is leaving by this week-end for the summer and we will have him back in the winter----he really is beautiful but too loud, too early----I agree and you gave me just enough of a kick to take care of it. Even if you stay elsewhere on the vineyard, please stop by for a visit. Rosemary at Annabelle's

My husband and I are in our sixties. We met on Martha's Vineyard over 40 years ago. We lived in Manhattan for 25 years and ran a sailing operation out of Battery Park. When we decided to move to a more peaceful environment, we chose to bring our two young children to The Vineyard. We enjoy sailing, gardening, music, cards and sharing our beautiful place with family and friends. You'll often find us out by the firepit with guitar in my husband's hands and music flowing. Don't worry, it's far enough away from the house that you won't feel like you have to participate.

We have built a 105' sloop and are still in the process of finishing it below decks. We welcome you to our own small piece of Martha's Vineyard.
