Steven's home is beyond our wildest dreams for the perfect family reunion site! 6 Adults fit well in the spacious house and the cabin was extra space which we could have used, but didn't need to. The river, trees and trails provided swimming, reading on the riverside rocks, hiking and lovely times of sun and shade. Darby was close for groceries, the library and ice cream. We couldn't have asked for a more genial home which met our every need and more so. Thank you to Steven for providing every amenity to make our stay comfortable and happy.

Steven is very reachable and a very nice guy. His property is absolutely charming, fun, beautiful. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Opening any of the bedroom windows at night means you fall asleep to sounds of Boulder Creek which is about 25' from the house. These are not negatives at all but it may be helpful for you to know that there's no internet or cell service at the cabin (only in the nearby town of Darby). And, its not super easy to walk from the property to the West Fork river which is just 300' away. There's private property blocking what initially looks like potentially public access and a road with no/small shoulders that's not inviting to walk along. Instead you may end up driving a few minutes in either direction which is very simple, and earns you incredible public access to an amazing river for swimming and fishing.

The main house is situated right next to the swift-flowing waters of Boulder Creek. With its wrap around porch and comfy chairs, it was a perfect perch for morning coffee. At night we were put to sleep by the sound of rushing water, as we left the door ajar in our master bedroom. We found the restorative qualities of the place comfortable and beyond exceptional! Our host provided an electronic "booklet" which offered directions on how to find the place, described amenities of the main house and provided accurate descriptions of things to do/trails to hike. However, there was very little information included about the more rustic small cabin. Our host was very easy to contact via email and was very willing and helpful in answering specific questions upon our arrival. The neighborhood was quiet. In passing we saw only one or two neighbors and they waved. The pictures were helpful in understanding the amenities of the main house.
